Well I got back from PAX earlier this week, and I just got finished writing my PAX articles for GamerDad.com.  So here’s a short blog with links to the write-ups so you can see what games I played and things I saw and took pictures of.  Sorry that I’m not posting any of the pictures and articles here.  I went as a member of the media for GamerDad.com, so I figured my articles would need to be there only.  Anyway, I sure would appreciate it if you all were able to click on and read the articles and stuff.

PAX Prime 2013: Day 1: Hello Seattle!

Since I flew into Seattle in the morning of the first day of the show, my Day 1 article was a bit uneventful.  I checked out some iPad games and posted pictures of things I did around Seattle outside of PAX.  But that’s it.

PAX Prime 2013: Day 2: Smooth Sailing

Day 2’s article is a lot better, as I check out big name game companies like Twisted Pixel, WB Games, Capcom, SEGA, and Nintendo.  Lots of good pictures, too!

PAX Prime 2013: Day 3: Indie Boom!

PAX is known for being more supportive of the indie game scene, they even have a special section at the back of one of the show floors called the Indie Mega Booth, and it was ALWAYS crowded.  So for Day 3, I did a 180 and I met with a bunch of indie companies and wrote about their games here.  You can also see pictures of upcoming Skylanders accessories and some misc. pictures, too!

PAX Prime 2013: Day 4: Cosplay Crazies!

For my last day’s article, I wrapped up with the last of the meetings I attended, posted more misc. pictures, and showcased some of my favorite cosplays from the show.

And that’s all for now!  I hope you all get a chance to read my articles and post comments here or there if you can.  And if you have any questions about anything I did at PAX, feel free to ask, too!

Next time on my blog, you are all invited to my pretend birthday party, so start thinking about what pretend birthday present you’ll give me!  Later!  --Cary

Thanks.  My birthday is REAL, but I always have a pretend party on my blog.

I'm jealous. I've been pretty impressed by WB's games lately so I would have liked to get more info on their newest Batman game in the works.

I also still keep up with capcom though my emotions for them as a company constantly fluctuate between love and loathing. lol. If anything I had a lot of fun with Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen and I just might get the newest update of SF4 with Elena.

I know more about Batman than any other DC character, but I don't have much interest in the Arkham games.  Scribblenauts: Unmasked is where it's at!

I both love and hate Capcom as well.  I should be more stalwart and not buy their games, but then I'd deny myself fun times with DuckTales and Phoenix Wright.  I'm not going to cut off my nose to spite my face, so I guess I'll be a bit of a hypocrite and enjoy their games regardless.

Yeay! Pictures from PAX. Wish I could've gone. Thanks for the pics! It seems like there's a lot of interesting indie games on the way. Also, I hope Pixeljunk Inc will come to consoles.

If I ever go to a gaming convention, I hope PAX is the one I go to. Good to see you got a lot of stuff covered.

If you can't go to E3, PAX is the way to go!
