It certainly has been awhile! I am not going to be posting a huge speel right now but there has been a lot to update about game wise and other random stuff, so I am trying to condence it.

I'll also be posting an extremely long post on my wordpress blog with a bunch of rpgmaker game reviews, along with some other reviews that I have been meaning to do but have been a lazy bum and haven't done so.

Some quick random updates 2013 I did meet my gaming quote! List of games I have completed are as follows:

To The Moon (PC) {indie}

Corpse Party (PSP)

Corpse Party: Book of Shadows (PSP)

Misao (PC) {indie}

Clock of Atonement (PC) {indie}

Beacon (PC)  {indie}

Yuki no Imouto (PC) – nonplayable {indie}

Ballad of and Evening Butterfly (PC) {indie}

Lullaby (PC) – nonplayable {indie}

Eclipse (PC) {indie}

Sleepless Night (PC) {indie}

Melon Journey (PC) (indie)

Starcraft 2 Wings of Liberty (PC)

Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm (PC)

Cooking Mama 4: Kitchen Magic (3DS)

Hotel Dusk Room 215 (DS)

No One Has to Die (PC) {indie}

Eternal Eden (PC) {Indie}

Breath of Fire (SNES)

Tales of Xillia (PS3)

Dragon Quest 6: Realm of Revelations (DS)

Phoenix Wright Duel Destinies (3DS)

Call of Duty Black Ops 1 (360)

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (360)

To start off 2014 I have completed as of now Suikoden 1. I have played some RPG maker games but some of them I didn't make it through all the way because I was either too lazy or the game just sucked. You'll see a large list of them in my upcoming workdpress blog. I will also finally be getting my Tales of Xillia, DQ6, Phoenix Wright + DLC, and the Call of Duty games I finished up as well.

Otherwise life has just been really busy work wise where I am actually too tired to blog like I would like to. I'll finish a game and then put it on my to write about list, and it's starting to pile up so I need to lessen the load a little. With me heading out to Seattle for a few days I figured I would try to write some things up but I don't think the internet is free for the hotel and I won't be able to pull out my work laptop as I will be in my luggage. But also I am going to be mentally tired as I am going there for training for the new project I am on. So I figured the rest of the week and the weekend will be my best bet since I do have a lot of shows I will need to catch up on and anime as well. Finally also with the settling down of holidays hopefully things at home will be a little less stressful and can be quiet for a little.

My plans for 2014...well I have a lot! One goal is to lose weight (yet again) gained everything back that I lost but this time I am going to make it stick. I just need to decide on a date to begin and it'll start! I am thinking of trying weight watchers because I feel that diet may be the easiest for me, especially with my job and flying out every month for a week to Seattle it'll be hard to do a different diet oooor there's always my Noom app on my phone I can use too. And then more blogging. I figured the easiest way to make a lot of this stuff stick is to make a alert on my phone to let me know things. So far it's been working with taking vitamins and what not. So I figured with the other things hopefully it will stick in. Also going to pick up some reading again, not sure what I am going to start with yet but I figured to get some books off my list and to finish a butt load of shows...yeah I have too much things haha.

Game wise I want to beat the Suikoden series and Breath of Fire series and the Tales series. Right now I have games of all the series beat so far (Tales of Xillia, BoF 1, and Suikoden 1). Working my  way through Suikoden 2(just started), Tales of Destiny (almost done), and BoF2 (need to hook up my Wii again to start it up again but part of the way through). I am going to beat every game released into America, as I have most of the games already. The tales series I would just need to double check because I believe the only one I am missing is the side one for the PSP. Eventually I may try to find some that were not released in American to play a ROM off off my PC, but that will be much later if I still feel up to it. I know some of them do not have English patches so it'll be hard to play without one or a walthrough...which would be a little pointless.

Well I am off to bed as I need to get up early to pack some more and get ready for a crazy work week! Hope everyone had a good holiday, and hope you have a great new year!

that's a lot of games, and I'm impressed so many are ones I've never heard of.  I haven't been so productive this year...  played a lot of games, but didn't finish most of them...

Thanks! I never beat more than one game in a year if I am lucky haha. Most of the ones you never heard of are probably the Indie rpgmaker ones. They were the fastest to get through. Hoping for another productive year!

I'm really impressed that you have beaten so many games in one year. Reminds me of when I used to do it nonstop. I used to tell people that I have beaten more games than you have ever played. lol Good luck on your goals for the year.

Thanks! Usually I only get through one or two because of my gaming ADD. Hoping I will be able to accomplish them with ease but we shall see XD

Man I got Suikoden 1 on PSN a while back and played maybe an hour or so and loved it. Need to find the time to go back and finish it.

I love that game, it was nice having to run through it again in a shorter amount of time and I was almost the same level I originally beat it at, but missed it by about 500 exp.

I noticed a couple of the games you mentioned said nonplayable.  What does that mean?

Oh yes, that could be confusing to others. Basically the game was a narrative and you cannot really do much in the game. You just read through the text.

This is the link to lullaby: http://freebirdgames.com/games/lullaby/

and the other game Yuki no Imouto was terrible and super short it's not even worth posting the link to haha. But I did really enjoy Lullaby, was actually a good narrative.

I usually try to stay away from the narrative RPG Maker games because sometimes they can be more miss than a hit.

That is a lot of games that you completed, nothing but props from me. I saw one of those Cooking Mama games and it looked interesting, I think I might pick up a copy.

Good luck on your 2014 Goals! I'm doing the lose weight/excercise more Goal as well as a couple of other folks here.

I wish you success in your goals as well! Cooking Mama can be fun but after awhile it does get boring I won't like.

I would like to play through the Suikoden, Breath of Fire, and the Tales series too.

I am determined to get through them all. Even the ones I hate...I will beat them! lol. I am thinking that I might try to beat or get closer to beating Tales of Destiny. I am trying to get to some of the secret stuff in it since I figured before playing through the games I wanted to see what types of secrets there were to kinda research what the extra stuff was and just jot down quick notes on how to start them.

I don't have Tales of Destiny.  I'll have to get that one.  I'm also missing quite a few Breath of Fire games and Suikdoen 1 & 2.  I'll have to pick up the ones I can digitally and the games that are left (the expensive ones), I'll have to get through less than legal means.  They should really put the series together and sell them in a huge collection.

I completely agree. I know I bought Tales of Destiny off ebay for about $50, and Suikoden 2 was well over $100. I know a few games are digital on the Wii, PSN, and you can probably find a few cheap off Amazon or ebay if you're lucky.

I loved Suikoden 1. The only Suikoden I've never played is 2.

I like the Tales series as well.

Unfortunately while I have played Destiny, Symphonia 1 and 2, Legendia, Abyss and Vesperia I apparently don't like finishing them.

I'm currently playing Graces F. Maybe 7th times the charm. :D

I am in the same boat with you on those three tales games! I gotten past the main story in Legendia but I never finished all the stories for each character afterwards. Abyss and Vesperia I played and then dropped it like a hot potato. Graces I never finished I only got past the prolouge haha.

Noom helped me lose a bunch of weight. I too put on a bunch of holiday belly fat. Good luck to us both getting it back off, and have fun in Seattle!

And I wish I did but sadly I didn't. Long story short my first plane was delayed and made me miss my second flight so I rebooked a ticket back home again. Was nopt a fun Monday night haha.

How did you get to beat both Corpse Party games? i had a hard time trying to get thru the first sceanrio in the first game given the odd ways I'm suppose to approach a life/death situation.

Plus ass cream? I'm not sure if I want to know what that's all about...

FAF101

01/25/2014 at 12:49 PM

Lol yeah the ass cream was a tad bit odd. Basically I would write down how I died and what I did, then if I still could not get through it I would seek help on gamefaqs to see what I was doing wrong. The first game I did complete everything though and the second game was MUCH easier to get through.
