Being that today's best story was Zelda-related, I decided to play the original The Legend of Zelda on http://nintendo8.com not 5 minutes before typing this, which is only fitting, being that it is the ... actually it's the 5th most popular game on the website behind Tetris, meaning it doesn't have any significant correlation to today's date. Well, shit. The things you miss when pumping a blog out not 10 minutes before midnight.

Anyway, I got the sword, went left and killed some spiders, having to comically chase the last one down Benny Hill style to kill it after getting hit and having the sword lose its magic beam projectile thingy power, went further left, and was killed by the beams shot out by the floating windmill things near the river.

I'd like for you to leave your best euphemistic Master Sword joke in the comments below, in honor of this story, which I blogged about earlier today.

My contribution today was thus: https://www.facebook.com/professorplum1301/posts/10152246333983934?comment_id=29716313&ref=notif&notif_t=like

Facebook friend who really owns a Master Sword: "Lol! I hope I never get stabbed with my master sword!"

"I knew what you were saying, but it sounded dirty to me too, anyway. lol Morning Sword."

I know you all can do better, so work your magic!

EDIT: Forgot to post motivational/demotivational messages for today's MaD!

Umm .. ok.

You can't stab your eye out with your Morning Sword, kid.

vs.

Your Morning Sword is way too small to be able to stab anyone's eye out, kid.

I wonder what a Don Quixote game would be like.

Curiously, I had a sudden urge to play the original Legend of Zelda this morning. Going to do it now on that website then.

You need to have Java  installed, and whether it works for me on Chrome or Firefox is always a maybe/maybe not situation (I clear my cache and cookies and nothing changes) for me, but when it runs correctly, it's an awesome site.

Morning Sword...after a couple of laughs, this should be in Urban Dictionary.

I've got it on my 3DS, and haven't beaten it yet. Need to set aside some time eventually to rectify that.

I wish I had an actual copy, no idea how to save file on nintendo8.com, though there is an option to do so, apparently, and I'm opposed to pirating it.
