Yesterday, playing Super Mario Strikers with a stranger for three matches (I won our mini tourney 2-1) at SGC 2014 was some of the most fun I've had sober in a LONG time and today, Super Mario Gotze won it for Germany in Extra Time.

I just want to say thank you to Super Mario Strikers everywhere for shining a light in the darkness of my week. Also, Bailey's Irish Cream and other assorted spirits.

I have now decided to call myself Super Mario the next time I get really drunk.

I've never been as into a soccer game aside from U.S. vs. Belgium. I picked a good year to watch the World Cup.

I like the angry intensity this Mario game has, as you don't see that in other Mario titles. It's kind of funny here.

I was laughing HARD when Waluigi started doing the "suck it" motion and Toad was doing his extreme angry eyebrows.

That game is fantastic, especially with four people on one team. It's basically the only way to beat the computer on the higher difficulties. Body checking other players into the electric fence never gets old.
