At least I think there is. Between issues at the radio station and writing my huge research paper, I haven't had much sleep, so this could be my mind playing weird tricks.

So I'm gonna need someone to confirm that this is indeed on Netflix and starts with Gaga singing a song about fucking that's about as thinly veiled as she is.

Still not convinced

Wow that's weird.  I'm a big fan of the Muppets, but not so much Lady Gaga.  Her name cracks me up, though.

I like both, but the mix is ... odd. I wouldn't mind if it wasn't just a promotion for her album at the time, featuring Muppets. I don't think kids would be into it and neither was I.

Apparently yea its a thing, it aired on tv back in 2013....lol

of course thats if Wikipedia is to be believed, lol

Yeah, I looked at Wikipedia. It said the special had way less viewers than her previous one. My guess is parents took a look at her first outfit and were like "nope," leaving only big Lady Gaga fans watching. lol

We tried to watch some of this (by accident). It was pretty bad. Not in some snobby way either. It was boring. We didn't watch much, so maybe parts were good.

I wacthed the whole thing and yeah, it was incredibly dull. Novelty and shock value wore off quick.

It's too bad, because I still like The Muppets pretty well. Pairing them with the pop icon of the day is what they used to do best. This just didn't work, even though it seems like her oddities would fit so well with them.

I'll say it again: Lady Gaga is no John Denver!

I just typed John Denver Muppets into Youtube and am now watching Muppets sing "Why Can't We Be Friends?" in the middle of a warzone ... with a laugh track.

I guess I never realized how surrealistic The Muppets were.

That GaGa woman has some catchy production quality to her music...im not so much a fan of her lyricism though.  Hows everything w you Step? Hope youre well!

I honestly don't expect much from pop lyrics, but I do enjoy her music nonetheless. And I am very well. As of this morning, my paper's not due until next week and the station is fixed.

I think this is the performance you were talking about. Watch Dr. Teeth go nuts on the keyboard! He played it with his NOSE!

I actually liked that song and performance, but the special only went downhill from there.

Love the muppets, don't like Lady Gaga at all. She is to music what McDonalds is to haute cuisine.

I enjoy both Lady Gaga and at least breakfast at McDonald's. I'll eat lunch or dinner there too, but only cause it's so cheap. Like, I'd prefer to be eating something else, but a lot of times the price is right for what I want, and while my friends call me a "foodie," cause I tend to prefer gourmet stuff, I'm no food snob. I can do fast food.

No. No. No! Just...no!

I don't know if this is true or not and I don't want to find out if it is. Just..Just no!

It's not october yet so..no, can't deal with this right now! *flees*

It is indeed true.

Honestly, it's a lot less surprising than if Sesame Street were to do it, since The Muppets have done mildly risque stuff before (Alice Cooper), but this just didn't work.

I was expecting to be entertained by the odd pairing, but I was just bored. Bummer.

Yeah, she didn't do her crazy that much. I wanted to see something unusual.

I don't care about Gaga that much and I need to get into The Muppets, so i'm just here left stranded.

You should make a song called "Muppets Stranded" and send it to Gaga's people.

Wait, what there's a Gaga/Muppets movie? Yeah that's something even I wouldn't check out.

Also damn those research papers!

Too bad I can't write a 20-25 page rebuttal to Gaga's teaming with the Muppets instead. lol
