Back to the Grind: Gamifying my Life

Well, this week is the last one before school starts up again, so I guess I better start improving my character stats again. It's been fun using all of my rupees and gold on chickens hidden within the walls of my apartment that that asshole raccoon keeps hiding from me to sell back at a premium, but my character's neck fat is starting to become bothersome, so I hope to earn at least +10 stamina and +5 strength tomorrow with that gym sidequest. I might also just walk around the village, since that earns your character skinny points without so much as a mini game. Hopefully, I can get that "low fat, lean muscle" character build I've been wanting. I liked the breather the game let me have where I could just runa round eating carnival food and completing mini games, but now it's back to the main quest.

Well, wish me luck!

Good luck!

We start again tomorrow. I'll write a blog sometime in the next couple days explaining how the little break went and how the gaming binge turned out.

ha ha, this blog really made me laugh.  I haven't known what to do in the main quest for years!

If I were to 'gamify' my life, I'd say you're more than welcome to come visit my house, as I have pleny of power-ups I could give you.  My house is just on the outskirts of the village, and it's just past a hedge maze filled with ghosts.  But once you get past that, you should see my house.  It looks like a giant mushroom, just so you know.  I've been harvesting vegatables that give you +20 muscle points, and you're more than welcome to take some.

Yeah, if I were in a video game, I'd probably be the one who gives the main character power-ups.

I'd be an inkeeper.

Yeah I wish sleeping in games worked in real life.  Imagine going to bed, sleeping for 3 seconds, and then waking up feeling fully revitalized.  Think of how much you could accomplish if you only needed 3 seconds of sleep a day?

Very creative (no, seriously) how you gamefy your post there. So, at which RPG level will you start collegue?

Depends on what country you bought the game in.

My life is exaclty like I played Oblivion. I got into the world, decided to be an alchemist, and spent my time collecting plants and staring at the stars. Main Quest? What main quest?

I knew there was a web site or iOS app having to do with this idea. HabitRPG is one.

Good Luck Man! Remember to always talk to the villagers just to see if their responses are the same.

As long as I'm not serving those villagers in a restaurant or retail setting. I love people until they're rude when I'm at work. Thank God I have an office job. lol

Sounds like someone has been playing the game of Life. I'm still looking for the reset button.....
