After only eating sushi today, taking a three-hour or so nap, compiling my literature review for my location-based advertising paper and then having two Irish car bombs (offensive name, I know; my friend Ryan was like, "what if you ordered two 9/11s?"), a Kerrigan beer, which I was told was like Guinness, and my old odd favorite, a Jim Beam (double-shot with Dr. Pepper) I started acting a little goofy in front of my friends.

But it was all in the name of fun and no way would I drive to Whataburger after that if I were actually feeling in such a way that I couldn't drive. I take that quite seriously, given I know of someone whose life was taken before he even turned ten cause he got in the car with a drunk driver. I dunno why I'm typing this in a blog. I guess because my friends accusations that I was drunk got to me. Hopefully, no one thinks lowly enough of me that they believe I'd drive drunk.

Anyway, I just felt like typing a blog. Been really into foo baw! as I'm jokingly calling it to my friend Stephanie in my "Suga Bear" (re: New Orleans accent from King of the Hill) voice and other of my female friends that don't care for da foo baw! Caught the Pats vs. Jets game on Thursday and was rooting for the underdog Jets, who lost 27-25 but at least it was a close game. Considering how much I like Boston especially, I felt a lot less bad for the Jets when I remembered Michel Vick was on that team. But the first string QB Geno Smith really impressed me. I wondered if he was alone out there against the NE defense, given how often he had to just run the ball himself. I like that guy's commitment.

In gaming news, I plan to download Psychonauts, Limbo, and any other Halloweeny games I happen to own on Steam that won't take up too much real estate on my computer. I've never been into the horror genre in any medium all that much. As a kid, it was because I didn't like being scared, now it's cause nothing scares me enough. But, as a kid, I did love trick or treating and as an adult I love celebrating anything and admire Halloween for other reasons. Reasons I'll hopefully expand on next time I write an article for plus10damage.com

Speaking of plus10damage.com, I recently wrote articles about how I feel about Let's Plays as well as why I'm excited for the upcoming Legend of Korra  game by Platinum+ Games. And damn I'm excited, as this season 4 of the show is amazing thus far, even if the Nazi theme is a bit overused in media, and I can't wait for a solid action game of my favorite TV show.

That's all for now. Leave me a comment to let me know you love me. I'm loving the pink the NFL players are wearing for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I just find it funny. Go Cowboys and Packers!

yeah Geno Smith played good.  I was rooting for the Jets too.  They almost won that game.

Hey bartender, get me an Oklahoma City and a Boston Marathon!

Psychonauts was my Game of the Year back in 2005.

I was so mad when it didn't come to Gamecube that year. I was like "Are you kidding me?! Cartoony platformer and this is one of the games I don't get to play?!" I love my Gamecube, but this was around the time I started getting frustrated with its lack of non-kiddy titles. Then, Psychonauts seemed perfectly child-friendly and like the most awesome thing ever and of course it only released for PS2 and XBOX. I was mad.

Can't wait for the Korra game. Sadly, it reminds me i've got a lot to catch up "weeps in a corner"

Why weep? The series just gets better and better.

I'm weeping because I haven't seen anything pass the first season D:

Exactly, so now you can go to Hulu (+), iTunes, Amazon, and/or nick.com, or buy some DVDs and live out the series all at once.

Those four options are sadly out of my reach, as they are not avaiable in Colombian region. I'll stick to free streaming sites.

I mean, yeah, that's what I did when unable to see the show on nick.com.

The 3DS Korra game is a 3D turn-based strategy game, but I can't find a trailer anywhere; not a good sign.

Yeah, I imagine they put more work into what they know: the action game.

It's not a Platinum game but a company that does a lot of DBZ stuff on handhelds.

Oh, I thought Platinum+ was developing both.

Webfoot is doing the 3DS game. Most of their games listed on allgame.com are 3 out of 5 stars or less, the best one being You Don't Know Jack for DS. More bad signs I'm afraid.

Are you playing Psychonauts yet? That was one of my favorite Xbox games. They did eventually port it to PS2, but I heard that version was pretty buggy. The Milkman level is hilarious, you have to listen closely to some of the stuff he says, some of it made me go "what the...did he just say what I thought he said?!"

I am playing it on Steam and I love it. I'll probably end up trying to 100% it. So far, I've defeated the censors in the mad scientists' brain and done a lot of collecting.

And yeah, the game has been really funny thus far as well.

Hey Psychonauts...the game everyone loved and I thought it was ok. Maybe if I played it today I might change my mind.

So when you said King of the Hill, and New Orleans the first thing I thought of was Bobby Hill wearing the suit to be like Bill Dauterive's cousin.

Psychonauts will blow you somehow.
