Cuteness. Love the one of her greeting her reflection.

Hehe yeah, was surprised I caught that one. She doesn't move super fast or anything, but she hasn't stayed still for a picture yet.

skinny minnie. You gotta fatten her up Joe. My cats don't pay any attention to themselves in a mirror. That's funny.

Our cats have always been pretty thin. Clinger was always really athletic until later in life, jumping after balls in the air and such.I'm actually gonna see if I can't get Katara to do the same tricks.

Funnily enough our tortie (known as hag because of her croaky voice) was really skinny when we first got her from the Animal Love rescue people. She's been living the good life since then and while hardly fat, has put on a few pounds.

One of our Siameses (Skunk) is still really skinny but the other one (Mouse) while extremely active is a little pot belly pig. Every kitty is different I guess.

Indeed. Maybe breed has something to do with it? I have no idea and with cats it seems many vets don't either. I've basically had some of the people handling cats admit to me that "American shorthair" really stands for "hell if we know, but its hair is short and it was born here." They may not have put it in those terms, but from what I've gathered studying cat breeds, the temperaments and coat colors of American shorthairs are a bit too diverse to really group all of them together. lol

Yup. Did most paperwork last Thursday, got the rest done Monday and took her home in a box that said "refrigerate upon arrival" Tuesday.

that's great, man!  I'm more of a dog person, but it's nice to have someone to look after.

If I had the time and money, I'd love a puppy for her to play with.

Does your cat try and get into small spaces? What's up with that anyway.

She keeps hitting her head on the bottom of that futon, so kinda. lol She has yet to find a box she wants to stay in though.

Adoreableness! Its so cute when cats notice their reflections, lol! They dont understand it themselves so they try to attack the mirror. She has a really pretty fur coat.

She wasn't really attacking the mirror, she just stood up to see what was up with it and quickly decided against it haha.

She does have a really pretty coat. I love the color mixture. I originally wanted a black cat, cause Clinger was my favorite and black cats have great personalities, but I am sure I'll love her just as much. She's very affectionate. Smile

Gal. She's very sweet, but starting to make me mad waking me up at 3am.

At one year and three months, she's getting towards cat years. lol Her meow is very much a kitten's though. She's sweet, but sometimes too much so. Dad does NOT want to play at 3AM, no matter how cute you are.
