Final Fight on SNES is really not that good.  No two player, and Guy is missing!  I hear the console only sequels are better, though.  Wish I would've played those.

I never played the Horizon games so I didn't pick up the LEGO one.  I will probably try and review the new Batman LEGO game, though.

I'm probably the only one who will say this, but I think the original Trials of Mana is a hot mess.  I can see now why we never got it.

The Paper Mario remaster is fantastic.

I watched the original StarBlazers on Netflix a LONG time ago, when we first got Netflix back in the mid 2000s.  We didn't even subscribe until after the last brick and mortar rental place closed down.  I liked the remake as it had more interesting characters and some pretty neat space battles.  But I only watched the first season.  After that I was like, 'nah I'm good.'

I could probably do the family plan, but then I'd have to depend on other people when it came time to renew.

I knew WayForward did Contra 4 on DS but I didn't know about that Operation Galuga game.  I played a demo of Contra 4 and died after a few steps so I didn't think that game would be for me.  Did you know there is a new Contra arcade light gun game that WayForward has credits on?

Yars Rising is fantastic, though.  I reviewed it a while back.

I remember watching Speed Racer and StarBlazers when I was really little.  Have you ever watched the StarBlazers remake anime?  

I don't think 1942 was a very good port, but 1943 on NES sure was!

Arkanoid was one of the first games I got for my NES.  I got it becaue my dad liked playing it in arcades and I thought the paddle controller was cool.

I thought PinBot was cool back when I rented it.  It's based on a real life pinball table  Did you know that table got two sequels?

I love the Game & Watch Gallery games.  That's the only thing I don't like about WarioWare is that it felt like it kind of 'replaced' those.

I also like the "Die Hard" parody they did as well as when they spoofed the controversy around the rap song Cop Killer with Shark Dog's rap song "Mailman Biter."  Hard to believe this was a Saturday morning cartoon!

Well I'll tell you my Power Ranger stories then, but forgive me if I already did.  Anyway, when my little brothers were young, Power Rangers were really big.  This was when they first came out in the US.  I was a teen, so of course I thought they were dumb, but I couldn't complain about them because after watching it, I realized that it was no different than shows I watched as a kid like Godzilla and Ultraman.  So I would watch them with my brothers anyway.

My brother Jeff's favorite was the Green Ranger.  They introduced that character right before Halloween, and Jeff wanted to be him for Halloween.  But since he was just introduced, they didn't have costumes for him yet.  Luckily our aunt made him a costume.  But since he was so little, the outfit swallowed him whole.  And when he went trick or treating, the people giving out candy would say, "Aw, what a cute little elf."  And then Jeff would say grumpily, "I'm not an elf, I'm a Power Ranger!"

Another brother Ben's favorite was the Blue Ranger.  Ben was going through potty training at the time, and when I told him that the Blue Power Ranger uses the potty, I don't think he had an accident after that!
