If Nintendo Switch 2 games are going to be as expensive as they say, I may have to look into renting games more.  I wonder if GameFly is still around?  I never used them, but I might now.

Finally Found That One

Sonic X Shadow Generations is actualy a remake of Sonic Generations with new content.  I reviewed the original back in the day and thought it was pretty good.  I liked how they gave 2D chubby Sonic classic levels based on the new ones.

I liked Mario vs. Donkey Kong.  It's actually a sequel to the Donkey Kong Game Boy game.  Even though I liked the Game Boy one way better, the sequel wasn't bad.  Switch remake adds some nice new features, too.

I enjoyed Nintendo World Championships NES Edition, but not as long as I thought I would.  It's basically NES Remix for speedrunners.

I liked Epic Mickey, but not enough to buy the remake.  One of the feathers in my game reviewing cap was being on a roundtable discussion with Warren Specter, the guy who helped create Epic Mickey.

My Brother and Nephew's First YouTube Video!

Yes it's the same brother who is in most of the podcasts.  Sometimes I have oher brothers on it, but it's usually him.  You see, last December he got married, and his wife has two kids, a young adult lady who doesn't live with her, and an 8 year old son she has joint custody with.  So he has a stepson and I have another nephew.

You know at weddings how there's a wedding cake and a groom's cake?  Well his groom's cake had Kirby on it.  You don't think someone might've had an influence on him in his life, do you? :)  I can send you a picture of the cake if you like probably on Facebook.

After the wedding, the nephew said about us, "Now that they're part of the family, they can all put in profiles on the Xbox!"

I might still get the Switch 2 at launch just so I can have something new to review games on.  But we'll just have to see what they decide on after delaying the pre-order date.  I'll definitely be changing how I buy games, though.  Might even start to try and rent them.  I bet if the prices go up, the game renting scene might make a comeback!  Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, and ESPECIALLY Kirby Air Riders looks like a lot of fun, though.  But yeah, the Switch isn't dead yet!  In fact, depending on how much they cost, I just might get the orignal Switch versions of Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon Legends ZA instead of the Switch 2 versions.  Same goes with Shadow Labyrinth and Tamagotchi Plaza.  I guess I don't HAVE to have those fancy graphics.

Thanks.  Just trying to help spread the news of their little YouTube channel.  My nephew just loves to see those likes and views grow.  Hopefully this will show him how hard you have to work to be a famous YouTube star (like all kids want to be nowadays), and why I don't do it. :)

My nephew did not like the idea of me having a made up space name.  He also didn't like it when I told him my favorite dinosaur was Yoshi.  Kids today have no imagination. :)

I miss when you could rent movies that way.  You could pretty much watch what you wanted.

Rage Turns to Acceptance

I loved the Disney Afternoon Collection and some of those games on it were a big part of my childhood.  I especially liked Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers and DuckTales and beat them both many times.  I reviewed the collection, too.

I rented that Duck Dodgers game on SNES one time back in the day.  I enjoyed it, but it did get pretty hard later on, as they do.

DKC gets overrated sometimes, but it's still very good.

I reviewed Pepper Grinder but couldn't beat the last boss.

Also reviewed Shadow of the NInja Reborn.  And also way too hard.

Crossy Road Castle sounds neat.  I forgot to ask for a review code for it when it came out.  Oops.

My nephew loves the Dog Man books.  i wonder if he saw the movie or played the game?

I reviewed that Save Me Mr. Tako game a long time ago!

With everything going on with the Switch 2 right now, I may have to find a way to rent games in the future as well.

If those platformers are getting too frustrating, I recommend trying Kirby games and Klonoa games if you can.

Platforming About to Begin

I've always wanted to play Animaniacs Ten Pin Alley.  I saw it at E3 back then but not in stores.

The SNES Tiny Toons game is called Tiny Toons: Buster Busts Loose.

Yeah but for me it needs to be a theme I would be interested in.
