A BaD time to drive

Posted on 02/14/2014 at 12:50 AM | Filed Under Blogs

Y'know, I frankly don't care whether or not U.S.A. ever changes to kilometers for cars, since both MPH and KPH speedometers are in the cars anyway, and I've gotten used to MPH, but we really should start just showing what something costs without excluding the tax ... that has nothing to do with the metric system, but we should probably do that, too. I'm cool with us still having American Football instead of Futbol/Soccer, though.

BaD #13: Trivia Thusday Returns!

It's so tempting, but I'll give an honest B. I could see someone reading that on paper, missing the metaphorical critique of 80s culture; hell, people who watch it miss that; and scoffing.

That band has great titles and I'm going to get two of their songs on. A DJ's favorite; or maybe second favorite, because on their reviews, they have to note songs with explicit lyrics and leave those unrated ... I think I may change that, since I know how to censor music in Adobe Audition now; was the one you mentioned, according to her review.

I like Def Leppard, too, but I have never listened to the album that's in my office.

Oh, people give Tull, or at least The Grammys, shit for that Best Metal Album upset all the time. I've never heard his music much, so I don't have much of an opinion on him, other than he should not have won that Grammy. While we're at it, Billy Ray Cyrus had no business having his album be #1 at the same time Megadeth's "Countdown to Extinction" was #2. MegaDave just can not catch a break ... for his Achy Breaky Heart ...

Did you listen to "Live it Right" or "Past Life"? I didn't realize I put those two titles one after the other until now, but that works well ... anyway, I think you might like those.

They are actually pretty decent and use an accordion. I actually just got done censoring their song "Word of the Day" in my office not long ago.

worse* ... I'm on a spelling troll roll with you, man. lol I'm not one to talk though, my grammar is pretty awful when I'm online, and I'm sure you can find errors in my blog, which I have yet to re-read.

And was that in reference to these guys?:

I forget what my intro to Alice Cooper was, but "No More Mr. Nice Guy" and "School's Out" are my favorites.

That makes me almost wish we were still a jazz station.

What I might end up doing is add that as a track to go beneath the DJ's vocals if I can get a hold of it legally. Thanks for sharing.

20 Awesome Ninja Games #9: The Ninja Warriors

Even the music sounds similar and the graphics also look like they just swapped PR and this game's sprites.

I think those companies must have used a lot of the same tools. How do you feel about the SNES/Genesis PR games, anyway? I'd count PR as technically being nijas .. ish (especially when they were ninjas that one season. lol)

Feeling kinda BaD

Haha, well I actually enjoyed bussing (but fuck kids, no offense if you have those messy little things) because I just worked, worked, worked without people's bullshit. It was great for me.

So was a position at Outback called Captain where I helped servers by bussing tables and refilling drinks of parties they had; you did that for half (weekends, where a second person had same position) or all of the restaurant as well as walked around with samples for people to try of desserts and drinks. That involved people, but only basic and sensible requests, so it was another "just go go go" position I loved. I like people until they start making things so much harder than they need to be, and while I totally get certain needs with medical reactions to food or legit complaints about bad service etc., boy can people can ignorant and overdemanding.

I love people, but there's that vocal minority that tends to ruin everything.

/My rant lol
