Yes it would (is), actually. Last Ninja 2 is referring to the game's place in the series, not the ninja himself. Just like the Super Mario Bros. in Super Mario Bros. 2 are the same Super Mario Bros.

BaD is only officially on week days. Indeed, fuck it.
They're making a sequel to Raid:Redemption? YEEESSSSS!!! I'll never understand why Cinema Snob and co. liked Dredd better, though I dig both flicks. Funny that such similar ideas came out at such similar times. Also funny that Dredd was in production earlier than Raid, but released later. Raid was pure kinetic energy and martial art badass violence, and I can not wait! Plus it releases just five days after I turn 24? Aww, yeah!
I too look forward to LEGO movie. If anything will justify how corporate their sets have become, it's how good that movie looks.
I've always liked Dreamworks and Pixar flicks for somewhat different reasons, but I know what you mean. I thought the first Dragon movie was decent, saw it in 3D on a date. I wasn't blown away like I was hyped to be, though. I prefer when Dreamworks says "fuck it" to trying to emulate Pixar's depth and makes something awesomely goofy like Despicable Me 1 and 2, but not something that takes it in a far too stupid direction, which I've heard Shark Tale does; never had desire to watch that one. I think I'd have enjoyed HtTYD more had it not cost $22 for myself and the date.
Cap is not my favorite of the Marvel heroes, but I did like his pre-Avengers movie the best of the bunch, and this is so far my top movie to see in 2014. It looks amazing.
Didn't know there were two Biblical epics out this year, but I'm down for Aaronofsky's take on Noah and Ridley Scott doing Exodus, for sure. I've had the cartoon movie Prince of Egypt (another great Dreamworks flick) in my Netflix cue just to see the amazing parting of the seas sequence I saw in the theater as a kid.
Funny you mention Nymphomaniac, my professor mentioned today how that trailer played before a G-rated movie in Florida. I however, will not get over Shia LeBeouf being involved. Seriously, fuck that guy.
I loved Moonrise Kingdom, but wasn't as fond of The Fantastic Mr. Fox, though I liked it. I may check Anderson's new one out.
Actually, Mockingjay is my favorite of the series, Catching Fire my least, but CF was a much better adapted movie, I will say that. Improved on the book, in my opinion. Honestly though, all it had to do was remove the shaky cam. I still find the plot of the first book/movie much less predictable and more interesting, but oh well. It was a better movie than the first installment, if a bit of a retread (not the movie's fault, the books had the same problem).
I've heard pretty much everyone bash Cloud Atlas for overreaching and failing to be what it wanted to be, with bad makeup, except for you and Nostalgia Chick, who loved it. I'm curious to see it for myself. I honestly don't think the makeup is that bad from what I';ve seen. I've actually only seen the second Matrix and V for Vendetta by them, I think, but I'm probably forgetting others.
I've never liked Godzilla that much, which explains why I actually really liked the one I saw in theaters at age 8, but this new one looks intense. Definitely on my list to see in theaters.
I need to see more of Fincher's movies. Saw Fight Club and most of Seven well after release, Social Network was favorite movie of 2010, Girl w/Dragon Tattoo was a great visual remake, and I didn't know he directed a couple House of Cards episodes, but I like him even more now.
I still have mixed feelings about There Will Be Blood and The Master, but both were at least great movies, I'll admit. I still need to see Boogie Nights, as it's my friend Will's favorite movie, but I never seem to be able to find it.
I'm gonna avoid MoS discussions on the Internet from now on, and you know why, but hopefully Singer doesn't pull a Returns either, and I'm confident he won't. I've never actually seen GoT, but I'm excited for Peter Dinklage as the creator of the Sentinels, a plot point I remember being a big one in the 90s cartoon I grew up watching (but honestly not liking that much, though I think I'd like it better now; it was more my older brother's thing).
I dig Nolan's older films as well as Inception (only ever desired to see it once, though) and TDK is still my favorite superhero movie, even if I was also one that saw a lot of flaws in TDKR (though I still really liked it). I'm excited.
Finally, I liked the first Hobbit movie more than most critics, but hot damn, I loved the action-packed second installment! To be honest, I've always watched these movies 20% for plot and characters etc., 80% for Jackson's action directing and massive battles, and holy crap, that scene in the Elf forest kingdom is one of the best uses of a tracking shot and editing and kills I've ever seen! The rest of the movie was great too, and having actually read The Hobbit all the way through and enjoyed it, I'm more invested in these characters and the plot, and I'm starting to like the added bits about what Gandalf was doing away from the group that I guess are from The Simarillion. Not sure how they'll do the third one in a balanced way, though, there wouldn't be a whole lot of pages left at this point in the book and all that's really left outside of whatever's from The Simarillion they've added is ... I won't spoil it.
I concur with Cary's Muppets suggestion. Please don't make a blog this long about a topic like movies I'm so interested in again. I'm exhausted. And apologies for blog in a blog. Good Lord, you'd think I'd get enough of writing as a Master's student. lol
Could have just been smart about it and figured out to subtract 11-5 to get 6, but hey, I found this cool map by being slow! http://www.timeanddate.com/time/map/#!cities=70,48,337,1249
Awesome. I am now following him.
And even then, Nick posted in the forums about their newfound desire to let third parties work on their most important IPs, like Tecmo Koei is doing with Zelda.
I see your point. If it was made in the blog already, I was having to skim at work, so my apologies if so.
According to Alex's link, it's a more violent version of rugby on a fucking cricket field, and from that description, I'm banning you from getting on the U.S. about non-gun (yeah, guns are still fair game, don't worry) violence from now on, cause Jesus! lol
And we're aware that every other country plays what we call soccer, or that game where it makes sense to call it football, cause there's more than one guy that puts his foot on the ball, and the guys that kick the ball aren't the least respected by many who follow the sport ... I like kickers, though. I'd like being a wide receiver myself, I'm a good catch. I was a lineman or a tight end in seventh grade, though. I forget where I was in the scrum when I played rugby in high school. It was wherever the skinnier guys that run go, which is weird, cause lineman is a heavy person's position in football. I was a defender in middle school soccer, and we sucked, so I'd just talk with my best friend/other defender until we had to kick the ball away. I think we were defenders cause we were fat, not that a professional one would be at all, but the athletic kids were forwards. Now in basketball is where I shined, cause I was a damn good shot, and had odd shooting styles that ... didn't work if you defended them right, but made me cool for a few seconds when they did, so fuck all y'all, I sucked at tennis! I was always told I'd make a good second baseman in baseball, though, cause I could pick up and throw quickly. I loved batting, and was obsessed with home runs as a kid. Some of my friends are really into hockey, but I only ice skated when friends had parties at rinks. I want to at least go to a game, though. Seems similar to the appeal of American AFL (Arena Football League), where people just constantly get smacked up against the sides of walls. Those games are great live! What was I saying?
Oh yeah, we're aware that we're the only country that doesn't pay attention to soccer until we're already really far ahead. That's been changing in recent years, though, you'd be surprised how much of my Facebook feed is soccer posts.
You can't get on to me for this, cause this blog-within-a-blog was in my own blog. Legal blogception.
Rugby, turned up to 11 and more violent?! Hold on, I need to talk with whatsacow now.
Come to think of it, I'd like TDKR and MoS if they were done that way. Moreso MoS, cause I still really like TDKR, despite its flaws. No offense if you liked MoS. I do not want to have that argument on the Internet again, so please don't start a thread with me about that movie, even though I realize it's my fault for bringing it up. lol
One of these days, I'm gonna write a paragraph just like your last one about how I'm managing the radio station.
Today was an adventure in IT networking. Ok, not really. There was a simple solution that has caused a new problem, one that I can only think of a couple ways to fix. One is wireless and a password for only myself, the other is Bluetooth. However, given distance, obstructions, and possibly a lack of Bluetooth on my office computer, I think either wireless or just doing something my boss may not like (not saying I'd go behind her back at all, but it may become a necessity) are the only options. Or, if we get Wide Orbit to update our equipment, we could explain what they need to account for, as I was told today the university will not be handling that update, we have part of the budget set aside for Wide Orbit to handle certain things.
Now, can you, with the help of Dora the Explorer, determine the issue? And then explain to me what you said, because I'm becoming increasingly interested in IT. I think my role as Station Manager is best described as part music director, part fedora hacker.
Oh, and this is the perfect time to mention that you have done an amazing job with message deletion! So much more convenient than when the page refreshed every time. Can't thank you enough for all you do. Forums time.
