New Releases that Peaked My Interest This Week

Posted on 12/28/2013 at 03:45 AM | Filed Under Blogs

Aside from Tropical Freeze and maybe Lords of Shadow II, I don't see much that would interest me in February. March has some good ones, like the South Park game and Blazblue, though. Plus, MGSV and inFamous: Second Son looked really cool.

Not that any of this matters, because it's not like my PC will run any of these games, except maybe South Park: Stick of Truth. lol

I don't know if I've quite reached my limit with action/platformers yet, as they remain what I tend to gravitate towards as safe and easy guarantees, but I have been getting more into puzzle type games, lately, as well as games requiring more exploration. That, or I'm just playing more slowly as I get older.

Glad you liked it. Too bad I missed the sale on it, but my CPU didn't meet the recommended requirements.

I need to look up more videos for it. I think the game I played at SGC that someone had developed for it left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, cause it wasn't particularly good looking and fel like random nonsense to me. Here's hoping more like Chrono Blade are released for it, and glad you're having fun with it once again!

I don't play D&D, but I really dig the vintage look of that set.

I also don't play RTS and only occasionally dabble in Halo multiplayer if somone has it and is inviting me to play when I'm bored, but that looks neat as well.

I guess I'm shallow today, looks are all that's important to me. lol

I would argue both. Disney gains attention to its up-and-comers because of the notorious transitions into adulthood, even after people like Miley leave the company, and having been scrutinized for so long probably does have an effect on developing teenage brains that carries into adulthood. Also, her managers and whoever else are most probably prodding her to do what she's doing, I'd imagine.

I don't know if the term "busy" is the right term, considering the whole being unemplyed for most of the middle of the year thing, but "eventful" is definitely a good word for it. lol

And the same to you, happy holidays here's to the new year!

Ready to start some new games in the new year.

You beat Lucifer? Well, I'm a bit surprised he existed, to be honest, but on behalf of the rest of the world, thank you sir! We couldn't have done it with out you, apparently.

Y'know, I should have asked for a 3DS for Christmas. Animal Crossing and everything else on there has been sounding good. Whatever, that PC/360 controller was a cheaper and therefore better investment. lol Good luck quitting your addiction! I like the cold turkey approach. I'll sponsor you, should you need any GA meetings.

I'll be looking for most of what you just mentioned on Steam. Except DmC and some of the other newer ones. I did download Tomb Raider despite not having the recommended graphics card, but I'm willing to put up with having to put something I've wanted to play and bought with a gift card on lower settings; not so sure I'm willing to risk buying something I don't have the recommended CPU for, though, even if I have the minimum requirements.

I am a bit upset I missed out on the daily deal for Bioshock Infinite though, cause that too was merely a "meet minimum, but not recommended graphics card" deal, and I hadn't thought about the $50 gift card I had lying around when I saw that. Or maybe I regret nothing, since I have no idea how Tomb Raider will run yet, having not installed it. We shall see. I'm currently debating if I should download Portal 2 and run it at lower settings. I think I might, since systemrequirementslab.com gives me checks on all but the OS, and that was the only problem with Arkham Asylum, which is running just fine.

And actually, those other ones you mentioned appear to be system exlusives, so never mind. lol. I may buy a PS4 eventually, but right now, I'm gonna use what I got.

Good luck not smashing your controller! Maybe I'll play the Silent Hill series one of these days, if I happen to visit my brother and he has it lying around. I think he only ever rented those, though.

I'm hoping this doesn't happen to me while I'm still getting in on these Steam sales. lol

Again, this is the exact trajectory most of Disney's female pop stars seem to take, at least the ones I can think of, like Britney and ... well, Miley, and .... was Christina Aguilera from Disney at first? Well, the point is, this is basically one of those true stereotypes at this point, that squeaky clean female pop stars associated with Disney eventually become slutty.

It might be  way harder to get tickets to her show now ...

Glad you like it. That's a nice looking start-up screen for Chrono Blade!
