I think teachers have incorporated games into the learning process, but only the good ones. Otherwise, learning packets and reading straight from the book for all, I suppose.

Well, they were only publishers on all the other titles I mentioned, so they've let other people handle their franchises before. But yeah, it's weird having a Nintendo game that looks like the gameplay is based on a non-Nintendo game.
Does Walking Dead have a Christmas episode? That could get me to watch it. Nice picture.
Having retaken Basic 1 for French, I have concluded that actually it's not that bad, but I get screwed up most by est (and) and a (has) sounding a lot alike when the voice speaks those words
Ah, ok. Since I don't have these games and such, the chat element is lost for me. That makes more sense now.
I should participate in Nanowrimo one of these years. Sorry about the job situation, hope it works out! I need to get on Steam again and see what's on sale. And a Merry Reckoning Day of the Sinterklaas to you too, sir!
That's basically my thought on this whole "put your figures in the game, kids!" craze. I mean it's cool, but that's a lot of extra money to spend on a game when you could easily just have those character models in the game without any extra figurines to purchase.
I think the fixes you proposed sound cool. I also think Twitch TV is a cool thing. I'm not sure I can look at people playing video games without getting bored though. I watch Let's Plays, but only if they have funny commentary, and I don't mean the people who annoyingly try to imitate AVGN with their jokes.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Enjoy the cake I made you, it's my profile picture.
It's weird that Dragon's Dogma looks worse in cutscenes. Isn't it supposed to be the opposite? I remember similar issues with some Square-Enix games, though. Some of those cutscenes in Kingdom Hearts and whatnot on PS2 had a real jagged look to them, if they weren't the fancy pre-rendered ones that broke up your game.
Spelunky sounds like an interesting game. Only problem I have is that it's a rogue-like and you get started back at the beginning upon death. That brings back not-so-fond memories of playing Zelda II for me.
I was never really interested in Alice or Borderlands, but those Batman games do look good. Since I have no plans to buy the consoles they're on, I may at least look up the cutscenes for their storylines.
It made me appreciate what they do, for sure. And I hope never to have their jobs. lol I need to pick up some of these games myself.
