Yellow Journalism is propoganda masquearding as an objective news source; the term was often associated with the Spanish-American war when I learned about it in school (in the U.S.) growing up, because exaggeration and distorted facts are said to have led to our involvement. Of course, that NEVER happens now. *Ahem*

Fox News and MSNBC, among countless others, could be considered forms of "yellow journalsim," as they sensationalize or misrepresent facts and news in order to push an agenda. Speaking of Fox News, thanks for sending Rupert Murdoch over here, you Australian fucker. That was a wonderful gift, really.

As for gossip rags, I haven't really seen people reading them lately, but I'm also pretty sheltered, honestly.

My local theater's matinee showings (non-3D) are around that price. I think I might go it alone tomorrow. There are other movies I want to see, but the ones I make an effort to see in theaters are SFX movies, which this definitely is.

I'm a bit confused on the SMT IV thing. If SMT is $50 and you get $30 towards it, you are only paying $20 for SMT and whatever full price for Fire Emblem is all told, right? So if you were going to get both, you still save $30 don't you? But then you say you are paying around $30 for SMT along with the $30 credit, which would mean you're essentially losing $10 of your credit, but why are you paying $29.99/$30 for SMT to begin with if it's $50 and you have a $30 credit. I must be missing or misunderstanding something. Is it that I am not taking tax into account?

As for the first video, I tend to prefer "girly girls" for some strange reason, but her voice is sexy and she kind of has a librarian thing going on, so while the goth look isn't my thing, I totally get it.  - TOM SELLECK
