That... explains a lot, actually (going through Activision statements for Master's) lol.
And yeah, our CPA does taxes. I've never actualy spoken with him that I know of, my dad usually relays the message to me.
Hey, I have no problem with discussing the fiscal side of things. Though I was a liberal arts guy in college myself (I have considered going back to get an MBA), frankly I think some people that bash companies for not making sequels to poor-selling games etc. are being a bit childish and unrealistic... but that's a blog in itself.
The last thing I needed our family CPA for was telling me Assistant Hall Directors don't need to file taxes, now it's exactly how much my freelance job will be taxed at the end of the year, given that it's not taken out until then, and my rate isn't always the same.
Very interested to read a fresh take on things, look forward to it.
I actually never minded MGS2, probably cause it was mostly my brother who played the first one, and at the time, the graphics were amazing! I also had no problem with Twin Snakes, which is how I played (after only having watched) MGS on my own.
Glad to hear REvengeance turned out pretty good.
I still just have my one, original Nintendo DS, but PSPs did always look sweet.
... No. Although I'm pretty sure you already seem to be doing that, and I'll consider that a confession. lol
I... I don't even want to know, when work gets more steady, I need a new one. lol
I'm sure as hell not logging a game a day! lol I don't have the amount of working software to do so, that talking about a different game each day thing is all I'm doing, just with GLaD as the name, which is all I'm doing.
Speaking as someone who does not work for Pixlbit (take my words with salt), I know there are no rules against blog series or we'd all be screwed, I don't think anyone'd mind a user doing MIA, and I have no clue about NSFW.
Personally, I think there's tons of NSFW clips you could have posted I'd be fine with (nice Simpsons clip by the way), but in that case, probably best to talk to a site official about ground rules.
As for blog writing, I usually feel that lists or outlines help me write, not like essay style Roman numerals lists, but just numbering what I want to talk about or something. That, and just writing SOMETHING for a blog every day, helps me, personally.
Like BaD, all is optional, so have at it!
