I just wrote a blog about Super Mario 3-D All-Stars, and how good Super Mario Galaxy is, so I recommend you please go read that while it's fresh!

I got Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair last Christmas.  It's a lot better than what I thought it would be, but it got to the point where collecting enough coins to unlock new levels got too hard.

Never been a big fan of Crash.  Only game I like from him is Crash Team Racing.

Definitely Animal Crossing.  New Horizons is going to be my GOTY, no surprise there.

I wish I had time to play more RPGs like the new Dragon Quest.  Classic RPGs like FF6 are definitely comfort food for me, though.  Octopath Traveler was good, but got too grindy after you found all the characters.

Streets of Rage 4 is great.  It'll win a big award when I do my GOTY blog.  Smash games are great, too, but I'm not very good at them.

Other games I consider comfort food include Kirby and classic arcade titles.

Yeah the reason why I brought the Mario Kart game over to my dad's house is that their entire house is hardwood floors, and even then I didn't have enough space to make super elaborate tracks.  I don't see how they can market this thing in Japan, because don't they usually have smaller houses than what we do?  At any rate, I'll be writing about it closer to Christmas at GamerDad.com, so be sure to check that out then!

I got to play Mario Kart Live Home Circuit and Taiko no Tatsujin with my brothers.  One of them also brought over their PS5.  Man that thing is huge.

Have you ever played a Smash game before?

I purposely stay away from games like Terriaria and Minecraft because I'm afraid I'll get too addicted to them!  I'm already bad enough as it is with Animal Crossing!

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate came out on the Switch that year, and a lot of people put it as their GOTY.  But not me.  One reason is because I put every single Smash game before it as my GOTY in years past.  And some people may disagree with me, but Smash Ultimate isn't THAT much different from the Wii U version.  Honestly, I was more impressed with Nintendo Labo, so I gave that my GOTY in 2018.  I just think it was so creative and educational and I had so much fun building the sets with my brother Jeff.  It's a shame Labo didn't do very well.

I recently reviewed a mobile game about Hot Wheels.  I know you like Hot Wheels, but I can't recommend this game to you since it's geared toward a younger audience.

I like Star Wars a lot, but I never felt compelled to play most of the Star Wars video games.  I played the LEGO ones, yeah, but I missed out on the SNES ones.  I wasn't going to pay full price for them, and I think they were always taken at the rental places.  I wonder if they're going to make a video game based on The Baby Yoda Show.

Aside from the usuals (Animal Crossing, almost done with Paper Mario), I'm working on reviewing a lot of games.  Right now I'm working on reviewing a PS4 version of Family Feud.  A lot of people may laugh at those kinds of games, but I think they can be fun sometimes.

Right now I'm working on reviewing a PS4 version of Family Feud and it made me think about other game shows that have been out for a long time.  And I thought of Jeopardy.  Are they going to still show it after his death?  Did they get a new host?

I like that Flintstones Hot Wheels.  A while back, a relative bought me a Hot Wheels car that was a monster truck with the Oscar Meyer hot dog truck on top of it!  It even comes with a plastic car mold for it to crush.  It's a very well-made toy.
