With GOTY editions, it's almost not worth buying a lot of titles day one anymore. I love Fallout 3 and New Vegas, but sometimes I wish I'd held out on them until their GOTY editions came out.

Although Aerith's death was an incredible scene, pretty much all of Final Fantasy VII was wonderful, start to finish. That game has more awesome moments for me than any 10 other games put together.
Looks like I will be hunting for Fire Emblem.
This game didn't look too bad for its time, although it was certainly not on par with its immediate competitors - Daytona USA on the Saturn and Ridge Racer on the PlayStation. Nintendo's true answer to those competitors turned out to be the excellent Wave Race 64.
Don't bet on it. EA started this crap with Spore (actually, if you want to be really technical, they've been doing this crap since 1986). Their response to it will be to double down on it, because gamers will put up with it.
I liked the Nintendo Easter Eggs in TTS. If you shot the Yoshi doll you'd hear a Mario "1UP" jingle. Plus, Psycho Mantis correctly guessed that I liked The Legend of Zelda and Metroid Prime, based on what was on my GCN memory card.
Another favorite GCN game of mine, Tales of Symphonia, has a giant floating Gamecube in the Renegades' Base.
Sadly, seeing as how it's EA and seeing what they did to Spore, I'm not surprised. I will be sticking with SimCity 4. If I need a more up-to-date city sim, it will be Cities XL.
This game was a clusterf***. Apparently, Gearbox took the money they were supposed to be using to make A:CM, palmed it off to other developers, and used Sega's money for Borderlands 1 and 2. Sega should get royalties for BL1 and 2.
Mmmm. I can't stand Fedex or UPS. When I had my PS3 refurbished by Sony, they made me ship it Fedex. When Sony sent the refurbished PS3 back, Fedex couldn't find my house for three days, and when I called to ask them where the hell my PS3 was, they wouldn't let me come to the distribution hub to pick it up.
I always, always prefer the United States Postal Service over Fedex or UPS and will choose USPS for shipping when the seller offers that choice. The USPS is far faster, cheaper, and better than either service, and if for some reason they can't find my house I can go to the Post Office and get it. I suppose that isn't an option in Canada, though.
My favorite ending themes are those of Lunar 2, Xenogears, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
