Anamani what now? I dig cheesy stuff, but some of the Castlevania remixes take it too far. I love metal as well, but in the right context. Certain games just don't jive with it. Same with movies.

Tomb Raider does have grab mechanics. In fact, you HAVE to grab ledges for this. It slows you down.

Yeah, Audacity is the most popular free one. I vastly prefer mixing with Audition, but Audacity gets the job done.
