That's one of the reasons why I review games. I can play many that I want without having to pay for them. I do earn them, though, as I spend a lot of my free time writing about them.

If by 'growing up' you mean college, then yeah, I was a big fan of Banjo-Kazooie then. :)
I haven't rented a game since the PSOne/N64 days. Well I think I did rent a couple of PS2 games, but that's it.
Even though I said Lost Sphear I would get on the Switch, I actually just reserved the phyiscal PS4 copy of it you can only get on Square-Enix's store. I would've gotten I am Setsuna on PS4, but I didn't have a PS4 when it first came out, and Square gave me a digital copy of the Switch game for review, so I just took that. I don't think there was a physical copy of I am Setsuna for me to get anyway. I'm stubborn and old school and try to get physical copies when I can.
Yup I like the amazon. Not sure why. She just looks really tough and strong and cool!
I never played the Disney Infinity games past the first one.
Breath of the Wild had a lot of problems for me, but I still spent 60 hours on it and finished it, so I must've still liked it. :) I know I enjoyed both Zelda and Samus Returns more than Mario Odyssey, and that was still a good game, too.
I didn't finish Yooka-Laylee, but I did get to the last boss. I enjoyed that game more than A Hat in Time anyway. Odyssey still blows them both out of the water.
I enjoyed Gravity Rush 2 but didn't finish it. I played through the first one on Vita. I'd like to get Remastered as well, but the physical copy is just too expensive.
I watched some of my brothers play Yakuza Zero last year around this time. They showed me the arcade you can go into and they played Space Harrier a lot and talked to the arcade lady enough to unlock Fantasy Zone. I think my favorite character in that game was the arcade lady.
LEGO City: Undercover is one of the better LEGO games I've played.
I have both Namco Museum Remix and Megamix, because I am a freak. If DLC add-ons were a thing on the Wii, Megamix would've been one of those.
Lots of other arcade companies did the whole Breakout/Pinball hybrid combination for a while, it's just that Namco's sitll one of the only ones around to talk about it.
There was a pinball game on PS2 called Flipnic, and it had a mode that played a lot like Gee Bee/Bomb Bee/Cutie Q.
Seriously, look up Q Taro if you want to see what inspired Toru Iwatani to create games like Cute Q and Pac-Man.
My favorite FF games are FF6, FF4, and FF9.
FF6 is on my list of my top five favorite games of all time.
Even though I had played FF1 and Dragon Warrior on the NES, FF4 is the game that got me into RPGs.
FF9 is what FF7 and 8 should've been.
I still liked Gravity Rush 2 and I beat the first game on Vita. I think it was just a timing thing. There were other games that I wanted to play and review. The game will still get a mention on my Game of the Year awards.
