I had the opportunity to review Spirttea. I passed up on it because I had too much on my plate at the time. Kind of reminded me of that Spirited Away movie.
I've never played Vampire Survivor, but I reviewed a game that tried to imitate it recently called CatLord. I bet it wasn't as good, though.
New Pokemon Snap was my GOTY for 2021. I loved how HAL made the first game, but Namco made the second one. SPOILER ALERT: Prof. Oak isn't in the second game, but another character from the first game does return.
Another standout game for me was Ys 9: Monstrum Nox. My mom was going through her breast cancer surgery when this came out, so it was a great way to escape when things got rough. I was so happy when all that was over!
Psychonauts 2 was all right, but it was no where near as funny as the first game. We live in a world now where everyone gets offended by everything, so I think the game suffered from that. Actually humor in general has. Everyone needs to lighten up.
Other notable games I played were Metroid Dread, Pac-Man 99, ActRaiser Renaissance, The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, and WarioWare: Get it Together!
That was an 80 percent off sale so I figured I would jump on that.
I would think ALL the SNES DKC games would be on the subscription service, but yeah I'm not really sure.
OK so I won't get Tembo right now, but I might start up that Yono elephant game I downloaded for 4 bucks when I'm on my lunch hour today.
It would be cool if you found a copy of Steambot Chronicles at the store! it's such a good game.

Yeah it's a shame Steambot Chronicles is so hard to find and on an old console as well. Probably makes it hard for people to play again.
What's odd is the Bezerk update is published by Atari! They don't respond to my emails anymore.
The Disney Happy Meal toys are cool, but none of them really grabbed me. About a year ago they did toys based on Disney World's 50th anniversary, so for Christmas that year a relative got me the Chip and Dale ones off eBay!
On Disney+ I'm watching a show about the Muppet band Electric Mayhem. You know, the one where Animal is the drummer? Anyway, in one episode they did a virtual concert on Minecraft. Do they really do that in the game?
Hey I have to brag on something. I got a review copy of that Head Bangers music game. It's basically a music/rhythm battle royale game. Well in the second match I played, i got number one! I've NEVER gotten that in ANY batlte royale game I've played. Not even Pac-Man 99 (I got 2nd place in that one). So I don't know if I got really lucky or if it's really easy to win in Head Bangers, but I'm taking my victory anyway.
You know that Shigeru Miyamoto was the one who created Pac-Man Vs., right? He's supposedly a big fan of Pac-Man.
I will say that even though the past few years were rough, everything has worked out for the most part. Even though COVID is still around, it's not near as bad as it was in 2020. My mom is cured of her breast cancer and hopefully it'll never come back. The family problems we had a year before are all worked out for the better. And even though I had to move from a house that I lived in for more than 20 years and really didn't want to move, where I moved to was probably the best possible situation. So yeah, everything worked out. But during those times at those moments, it was pretty rough. I hope I can have at least a drama-free year or two coming up.
