2010 Redo

Even though I played the Wii a lot, I actually liked my Xbox 360 more.

The original Pac-Man Championship Edition is the reason why I got my 360.  It's still one of my favorite Pac-games of all time.

I really miss those arcade collections like Data East Arcade Classics and Namco Museums.  I'm impressed you knew that Grobda was a spinoff of Xevious.

I actually liked Epic Mickey and its sequel. Sure they had their problems, but I didn't think they were that bad.

Kirby's Epic Yarn was great, even though it originally wasn't meant to be a Kirby game.  The music in Epic Yarn is fantastic.

I don't even have the Nintendo app on my phone.  Sounded pretty useless to me.

Hey speaking of cool aquarium stuff:

I reviewed Pikmn Bloom closer to when it came out, but it really only kept me entertained for a couple of months.

I don't like escort missions all that much.  Luckily most of the games I like to play don't have them.  I'm also not a big fan of sneaking around in games.  I think the only game that made sneaking around fun for me was the Ape Escape games.

There's a demo you can download if you want to try it out first.

Return to 2004

2003-2006 were really good years for me.  I had just started writing for GamerDad.com in 2003, and that same year I started a job I liked pretty well for the most part.  I also got to go to E3 every year again!  I also joined a really neat website called 1up.com!

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is probably the best Mario RPG.  What impressed me the most is the clever writing in that game.  I hope it's the same in the remake.

Metroid Prime 2 was the hardest in the Prime series for me.  I don't think I ever beat it like I did the others.

R&C: Up Your Arsenal took the vast improvments from the second game and refined them even more.

I didn't know Humongous made that.  They're mostly known for their kids' games.

The Week in Badges

I know I've said this before, but Activision Anthology is one of the best video game collections ever made, even rivaling my favorite Namco Museums on the PSOne.  It was so cool how you could get those virtual badges that were based on the real ones you used to could get.  Does that make Activision the creator of achievements?

Kirby's Air Ride is so awesome.  The City Trial Mode is so fun.  I wish they'd make a sequel.
