I'd love more stuff about pre-NES, especially if it's more obscure consoles. Atari I hear plenty about, but it's like unless you intentionally seek out information on them, other platforms are lost to time.

Wait ... Staples is near me ,.. but I'm not sure its being right next to GameStop hurts or helps. Likely hurts.
I've thought about a Retron 5 myself.
Funny how controversial Simon's Quest is.
A new computer is on my shopping list, but I'll wait until the contract is signed and I'm working the next (same but w contract) job.
Rent it or buy it on sale, cause it is short. But what's there is damn good/addictive. I never did make it to the last (10th) stage though, apparently that's where things get unfair.
Nah, I did well in school and still talked behind my prof's back when I was frustrated; I'm not mad about that at all. I find that amusing, as it it genuinely makes me laugh and brings me back to my undergrad days when we all bitched and moaned. We also grew to love our profs though. Good times. Now the girl who showed up to my office to literally laugh in my face when I said I was taking attendance today and said she had better things to do ,.. we're gonna talk about that shit.
I tried connecting the Oscars to what I'm teaching ... unfortunately, I think the Oscars are for me and old ppl so not sure how much good that did engaging them. ha!
Unpoolished maybe, but I still really liked the look of it.
I liked how it felt like a summer blockbuster in video game form.
Was gonna say the same, sounds like you need to speak with a professional.
My anxiety was AWFUL when I was doing my thesis and it still flares up. I'm not medicated for it atm, but I did get a lot of help with changing my mindset speaking with a therapist, and most universities have free mental health help.
I'll probably finish HoC over the break. My spring break is next week.
I might start reading those comics too. $40 actually doesn't sound bad. The game looks like it's have a lot of content even without DLC.
With any game I put down after like 10 hours, I completely forget what the hell is going on and either start over or keep going mildly confused.
It's crazy how long a game can take to create ... then flop. I actually noticed the same thing about Braid in Indie Game: The Movie and also thought of PoP. Didn't Max Payne come out before Braid and have a time mechanic?
My only comment on KH II is how amusing I find the upcoming title's title: Kingdom Hearts II.8 Final Chapter Prologue. Seriously though ... tf is that?
It's ok, Julian, I understood that reference. I also know exactly what you mean with the whining about prices and I am also on your side in HAVE A SINGLE PLAYER EXPERIENCE.
That's the hour mark for me. I'll come back for the SFV stuff.
