Yeah the game is bad.
Yeah the game is bad.
Hey I liked Raimais. I didn't like The Fairyland Story as much as I thought I would, though. Can you believe it came out a full year before Bubble Bobble? I wasn't very good at Wild Western, either.
Alex Kidd sucks. Altered Beast does too but it does crack me up when they power-up. But I love Bonanza Bros. and Flicky! --Cary
You just wrote this blog so you could have an excuse to post a picture of Samus. :)
I never really gave thought to Samus wearing heels. Zelda and Peach wear heels, too.
At least Samus doesn't have guns on her feet like Bayonetta has. That's just silly! :)
Please be careful when eating chicken in the future. I'd hate to see you gone.
I wish you would draw more pictures of Angi and Brandy. :)
Now go read my blog. :) --Cary
This is one of the best blogs I've read in a long time.
I hate how Color Dreams changed to Wisdom Tree to keep Nintendo from touching them. They knew Nintendo would look bad suing a 'Christian' company.
Have you ever heard of Super 3-D Noah's Ark? It's almost the same game as Wolfenstein.
The Bible Game actually isn't all that bad. It's kind of fun.
I reviewed that Noah's Ark game as well. I also reviewed a Bible game on the PC called Timothy and Titus. It was a 3-D platformer. It wasn't very good, but it had a lot of good ideas that just weren't implemented very well.
Have you ever played any of the VeggieTales games? The ones I've reviewed were actually pretty good. But then, the VeggieTales license is fantastic.
Happy birthday! Your birthday is WAY more important than Pac-Man's! Pac-Man is just a video game character, you're a real person and you matter!
If Pac-Man were in the next Smash game, then it would have pretty much all my favorite characters in it (Kirby, Mega Man, etc.). But I hope they don't use the current 'Ghostly Adventures' cartoon look for Pac-Man like they did for SFxT. I don't care much for that look.
No, no Pac-Man blogs from me today. That May 22 day sounds a bit unconfirmed, plus I've written about Pac-Man so much that there's not a whole lot new to write about. But I will have a blog up on Friday and Pac-Man will be in it. He's not the main topic, but he's in there (but he usually is in my blogs).
I'll be reviewing Child of Light soon.
Kirby Triple Deluxe is what I'm currently playing right now. It really grabbed me...but...uh, it's not anything like Dark Souls. It's better. :)
I liked Liquid Kids. Can't remember if I beat it or not, but I got pretty far.
Lunar Rescue just looks like they ripped Space Invaders graphics and pooped out a new game.
I love the Space Invaders updates on Taito Legends. Looney Landers (Space Invaders '95) is hilarous and they even make fun of other Taito games in it (like Darius fish bosses on a seafood platter). Majestic Twelve was also fun, and the update that has all tlhe other Taito characters in it is neat, too. Have you ever played Space Invaders Extreme? You should put that on your list after Arkanoid DS.
As I said before, I loved Metal Black. It was originally going to be a Darius sequel.
Never really got into the Rastan games, myself.
I love Puchi Carat but I'm not really good at it. At least not as good as I am with Puzzle Bobble and Puzzle Fighter. My favorite characters to play as are the Cleopatra Fortune girl and Aqua. I thought Aqua was adorable and ditzy and cute and hilarious.
My brother Jeff loves Qix. Taito made a bunch of updates to that one, too. I was never very good at it.
It doesn't surprise me that Team Ninja is involved with Hyrule Warriors, as Tecmo and Koei are practically the same company now anyway.
I think when they came up with Hyrule Warriors, they were like, "How do we get Cary to play a Dynasty Warriors game? Let's put either Kirby or Zelda into it!" And I guess they went with Zelda.
And yes, a playable Princess Zelda in that game would be neat. I'm tired of Link. :) (not really)
I saw Godzilla this weekend, too! I enjoyed it. I used to watch Godzilla movies when i was a kid, so I felt like a little kid during this movie.
Insector X is a cute shooter but I found it very hard.
KiKi KaiKai had a couple of sequels on the SNES and GBA. You might know them as Pocky and Rocky.
I seem to remember that Kuri Kinton game being kind of fun. Better than Legend of Kage anyway.
