A few years ago I got one of those Alexa hockey puck things for super cheap (like 20 bucks), so we just played around with it for a while, asking her funny questions, making her do fart noises, etc. Now they want you to use her to operate everything in your house. I can flip the light switch myself just fine, thank you.
Yeah I heard the Disney Dreamlight Valley game is like Animal Crossing but with Disney characters. You'd think that would get me to play it, but I just can't play ALL the games out there. I think that's cool that Scrooge McDuck is in it. He's one of my favorite Disney characters. You'll have to let me know if Chip N Dale, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, or Wreck-It Ralph are in it.
If you've ever watched the Pacific Rim movies, the computer voice in that one is the exact same voice as GlaDOS.
The only other thing I remember about Juice Box the Robot is that in Poker Night 2, when GlaDOS comes out to deal the cards, when Juice Box sees her for the first time he says, "Hubba hubba!" Of course, GlaDOS isn't too pleased at that.
One other Borderlands thing in Poker Night 2 is that one of the stages is a bar from that game and the bartender is some kind of creepy mime/clown lady.
One thing that creeps me out about Amazon's Alexa is that she apparently knows Dr. Wily on a first name basis and also says she "doesn't speak with GlaDOS after what happened." Hmmm.

I have more nostalgia for early 80s arcades. By the time the SNES came out, Street Fighter 2 was dominating arcades so I didn't play arcade games as much. Although I still played a lot of titles like Konami's beat 'em ups like TMNT and The Simpsons.
You know what's funny is that in real life, I never eat when playing games. I don't see how people do that and keep their controllers clean. Plus I only have two hands.
Your pretend present is a real life Borderlands square robot. I forget his name, but in Poker Night 2, GlaDOS is the dealer and the robot is playable and she calls him Juice Box. So that's your present: Juice Box the Robot.
I do like Odin Sphere and Muramasa a lot. It's hard for me to classify those as plastformers because you seem to do more hack and slashing in those. I liked playing as that Valkyrie character in Odin Sphere.
The new 2D Rayman games were very good, too. They had excellent controls.
That cabinet is neat. I have that Pac-Man tabletop and FF7 figures in storage somewhere.

I never got into Costume Quest. You'd think I would, but the battles just didn't draw me in like a Paper Mario or Mario & Luigi game does.
I have a physical copy of TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, too. It's a very good game.
I rented the Willow game a couple of times as a kid and was pretty impressed with it. But then, I was a bigger fan of Capcom's NES gamse than Nintendo's own back then. I think there's a new Willow series on Disney+ now. I watched the original movie a couple of times as a kid but it's been a very long while so I don't remember much about it.
