I honestly thought the first Trabnsformers was ok, but I almost couldn't get through the latter two. Actually, I'm not sure I've ever watched the first one all in one seating either. They're way too bloated and have way too much LeBeouf in them. Honestly, if it really was just Fox and robots, I'd probably like those movies ok, but dammit I hate the "humor" and the LeBoeuf in those flicks. 

It was the home of both the Mavs and Stars, who both now play in the American Airlines Center, which is also where New Years parties are held ans we openly admit every year that we're trying real hard to be New York. 

And Final Fear? Were you afraid of the UConn Huskies? Cause no shit, I looked them up to remember their mascot and found a ton of links like this one, which was first on the Google page full of them. WTF?! I didn't even know that wolf meme was about rape, I thought it was simply Insanity Wolf and he said outrageous crap in general ... and looks nothing like the mascot. 

And no problem, I love sharing my free-of-charge (minus concessions, gas, etc.) experiences with people. lol

I've eyeballed a few vinyls at Hasting's in Nacogdcohes in the past, but I have no turntable and they're too expensive. Still, if I ever see a copy of Judas Priest's Sin After Sin, I'll buy it just for the artwork. 

RSD is a cool concept that I'm not sure is exactly promoted near where I am in Dallas or Nacogdoches, TX. 

As for HAIM, I'm actually glad your bro called you a hipster for that, cause that means I can still play them on KSAU, guilt-free. lol 

That clear Paramore cover though ... so is there like a clear, working piece of that vinyl that I can't see?

Well Lee, I mean I'm all for whatever it is whoever wants to do as long as it's not hurting me, but I think you may have put this blog about gay men showing you their butts in the wrong place. 

I have so many lonely Steam games, it's not even funny. Well actually it is to me, but hot damn is my wallet pissed about it. It keeps asking where its money is. 

And that's awesome you get to go back to Ireland and see your friends and family. My friend Hanna(h?) from high school said she vastly preferred Ireland to France and wherever else she went on her trip abroad. Considering one of my grandfathers was first or second generation, I should go some time. I also need to visit New Orleans, which is only about 6 hours away from my current college.

- Yeah, but that was the most believable Joker backstory to me, that he came out that way cause Gyllenhaal didn't use any lube. 

- That old wive's tale about classical music making you smarter is most likely a correlary thing, but I guess it couldn't hurt to get your son into it. Correlation is causation today, screw it!

I know what you mean about hearing instead of listening though. For me, it's the lack of vocals that makes that achievable. There are plenty of long instrumental stretches on some of the metal stuff I listen to that I can drift off to. I dig classical as well, though. I'm into soothing indie rock stuff lately, but I go through phases of what kind of music I want to listen to. What I've actually bought is mostly pop/rock, but I'm down for anything as far as streaming goes. 

- Some of the jokes in The Office are inappropriate for six year olds? Don't kid yourself, man, there's a damn blow-up doll in the first few episodes of both the original British and better-known (well, here anyway) American remake you guys are watching. The series concept was created and starred in by freakin' Ricky "suck my Golden Globes" Gervais for crying out loud. lol 

I'm not judging though, my parents let me watch the Simpsons and Family Guy at very young ages, and hand to the Yin Tang Twins, both shows saved my ass on quizzes and tests. Thank the Wu Tang Clan for referential humor about historic literary works. I'd say my Magna Cum Laude Bachelor's degree and first-semester 4.0 in graduate school are ringing endorsements of trashy TV sitcoms and their positive effects on children. 

- I should read Jurassic Park sometime. The trailer for The Lost World, where it was just a T-Rex's loud footstep, scared the crap out of me as a kid and I love it as well as the original movie ... same cannot necessarily be said for the actual movie The Lost World. 

- Good job, Xander! Where does his name hail from, by the way? Sounds like a reference. 

- I played Chrono Trigger or maybe Cross (whichever is on SNES) via emulation before I stopped emulating games. I only walked around a bit, but it was pretty. 

- I need to discipline myself like you've done with Xander. I totally have two screens going at once all the time. At work, it's texts and ... well, work on my desktop at ... work, but at home it can be a computer screen and a TV, or my cell phone and a TV, or my DS and a TV ... no wonder my eyesight sucks.
