For Those About to Math, I Salute You

Yea, I messed up my math on my last blog. I should be reliving 1985 this week according to my system, and not 1984. Oh well, I'm stopping now. Next week, I'll get back on track with 1986.

I also forgot to mention films. A lot of big film franchises began this year, Ghostbusters and Terminator, just to name two, but I want to watch a few things I missed like the scifi comedy Ice Pirates, the cartoon for Dragon's Lair, and the Peter Davidson Dr. Who. I restarted my Netflix just to do this. It's been a long while since I got a DVD in the mail. I'm kind of excited.

Ice Pirates is a fun movie. I watch it a lot as a child. Now-a-days, I watch it with my children.

Well, I can see the "fun" I suppose. I just watched it and didn't dig it much. I mean, it was rediculous, but not as funny as it could have been. It could also have been a lot worse and then been funny for that. It just kinda lay flat for me.

I agree, I wouldn't say it's a "funny" movie. It's more like a "not serious" adventure sci-fi movie.

ICE PIRATES RULES! I bought if for my brother for my brother for xmas last year. he loved it as a kid.

Yeah, I can see liking it as a kid. I probably did too, because as I watched it again, I kinda remembered parts of it. But now, I thought it could've been so much better. It just hit every obvious joke.
