My code. Only made this one so far. Agreed on the bs, but hope you have fun once you unlock all the tools!

And so far, I'm not a fan.
This is mostly due to the fact that the game gates you heavily. You get basic blocks to begin with, far from enough to build a decent level with or even just have fun messing around with it.
Now, I understand the need to gate progress. Creating levels is complicated and giving all of the tools to the player at once is overwhelming. However, the way they gate things is bullshit. In case you don't know, it does it based on time.
This is bullshit. Don't do this.
Do what Little Big Planet does and give me a campaign to complete so I can progress at my own pace.
This actively stifles creativity. I start creating a level and think "it'd be cool if there were spikes here," then remember i don't have spikes and have to put it down and come back to that level. Apparently it can take 10 days to get everything.
Yes, I know you can put your clock forward, but I don't want to mess with the other shit I've got on my Wii-U. Plus, I mean, I SHOULDN'T FUCKING HAVE TO!
So instead of playing Mario Maker, I'm here writing a shitty blog waiting until I can actually fucking make shit.
Also, if you got levels send me the code.
Oh, and I can't change where the level starts, or how it starts? Bullshit.
Played your level. It's... not easy. And yeah, I unlocked everything. I have two levels up now. My first was:
6C56 0000 00EF F6B9
It's not amazing, just a simple obstacle course.
The other level is:
6705 0000 00fo fo2b
It's a bit better I think. A bit harder too.
Here is a thread that PixlBit started a while back that has a bunch of levels you can try:

I also wrote a blog about Mario Maker a while back.

I get overwhelmed by create-a-level things and feel like I suck at it. Hence why a tutorial would make me very happy. There should be an option for people like me to go slower, but it's bullshit to slow down PC gamers like yourself who might be used to mods and actively creating gaming things.
