I know you love those EDF games. It's too bad your friend isn't into them anymore. They seem like fun co-op.
Yeah, the site was down for a while. But it's back now!

Yes I finished Stacking today, every last little bit of it. I completed all the challenges, collected all the unique dolls, and did all the Hi-Jinks. I left not a stone unturned in that game, DLC and all. So fun.
Then I started Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon. This is the second EDF game released in the U.S.. The first one was developed by Japanese company Sandlot and this one by U.S. developer Vicious Cycle Software, but I found the two games to be very, very similar.

Looks like some maintenace was going on last night. I wasn't able to finish my blog. I got like five minutes to do it now before work. So here goes:
EDF: Insect Armageddon, after 3 hours of playing it, seems to me of slightly higher quality than the Sandlot games. It looks just a little better, plays without frame-rate drops, and has a more streamlined menu system that isn't confusing. It is supposed to be a lot shorter than the other EDF games though. The levels do go by a little faster and in more confined areas than the Sandot developed games. Even the destructibility of the environments seems less destructible. I mean, everything is destructible but it takes a few more shots to bring down a building. The bug enemy designs are excellent and the battles are frantic as all get out. It does seem a bit easier than the Sandlot games too.
I want to play this game co-op but Mark doesn't like the game due to aiming issues. I didn't feel the aiming was at all bad. It seemed very much like all the other EDF games. Perhaps the crosshair moves a little quicker, but there does seem to be some aim-assist, so I don't understand his disinterest. Oh well, after I play it single player with the AI, I'll go online and see who's still playing this.
And there's my Monday gaming. Five minutes and off to work. Bye bye.
He likes the Sandlot EDF games a bunch. We played EDF 2025 a lot last summer, and we'll probably play EDF 2017 when I play that again soon.
I'm kind of bummed EDF 4.1 is only on PS4. He doesn't have one, and probably won't get one. I'll have to play that one myself.
