I got five more Skylanders figures on the buy-2-get-3-free sale at Gamestop today. The total cost was $12. I got the last two core Giants figures I needed, and three from Spyro's Adventure. See pic below:

One thing I don't understand. The wiki page listing the core Skylanders figures confuses me. Like, I was working on the Earth figures for Spyro's Adventure, but Flashwing listed there debuted with Giants, and Fist Bump (my next acquisition) debuted with Trap Team. I don't get it. Maybe when I play the games, it'll all make sense, but at least I have a controlled list I can buy from.

Tomorrow, as I head to Mark's for gaming, I'll hit a different Gamestop than my home one, and get another five for like $10. I'm going to have quite a collection after all this. I'll be ready to play.

You have SKylanders mania, I think.  Which is awesome!  I wish I had the space/organization to collect figures!

I definitely don't have the space, but who needs furniture after all.

That's odd about the list of figures. Are there any other lists that fans put together? I'm glad you're finding the ones you need because it always bugs me with games like this when you get to a certain section and realize you need a specific character to unlock something you need. *shakes fist at Disney Infinity

From what I've read, Skylanders is pretty good at not making you buy characters to unlock anything essential. You can complete the games with the starter pack characters. It's just that you get extra content, and some special items, if you have certan characters, but they aren't a necessity.

Sounds like Infinity and Dimensions. Its nice to have other figures with special skills but they aren't needed.

Dimensions looks interesting, but boy there's a lot of figures out there now.
