Hey guys, I'll get back to my most anticipated list soon but for now I just want to catch you up on some things.

 Firstly: Warhammer 40k!

I got the Warhammer 40k starter set, and it's awesome! It's space marines vs chaos marines. I'm chaos, naturally, because I'm not boring. assembled them yesterday:

Before:

After

And then I applied the base paint:

And I've been painting them today. Expect more pics when I'm done.

The box was awesome though, it comes with 2 rulebooks, one that explains how to play with the contents of the box, and one that explains army compositions as well as the lore of every faction. That rulebook is 150 pages long. It's awesome.

Anyway, stuff is coming. Sorry this blog is rushed, I'm literally about to go see Hateful Eight because I missed the first screening and our cinema is showing it again.

And tomorrow I start my IT course which should be awesome.

Oh, and I've been playing XCOM 2 which is the best thing since sliced baby, and Disgaea 5, which is lunacy in a box.

 Anyway, Blake out.

I still haven't seen Hateful Eight. Cool figures.

I need that set, I'm gonna try to get my dad into it. He and I read the Warhammer 40K novels.

I always dug those figures. At one point I wanted to buy some, just to paint, display, and may or may not play with like toys.

They're expensive as shit. It cost $180 for the set and $140 for the paints, glues, plastic cutters etc I needed, and I only bought base paints!

The cost of entry to this hobby made me run away screaming. Those figures are rad and will be awesome for display, but it isn't called "plastic crack" for nothing. I bought solo fantasy figures from a local hobby shop and found painting with tiny little brushes very therapeutic.Cool

I was pretty disappointed with Hateful Eight. I wanted more horse riding.

I loved it. Thought it was absolutely amazing, although it did mean that I ended up googling the word beastiality A LOT.

It certainly was a whole bunch of great acting. Pretty darn gory too.
