Steins;Gate

I played at bunch of Steins;Gate on the weekend and I must say I hope I do more than read emails on my phone for the whole thing. It was on sale and I've heard people rave about it but while it seems like an interesting story it's not as interactive as I'd like.

Not sure what to think right now but I shall soldier on. I also downloaded Tales of Zestiria and Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin

Elsewhere in Wii U land I'm wondering why it drops my wireless internet connection when I start a frikkin' download. Not just drops it but refuses to reconnect because while it can see my AP it claims it has no connection to the internet. No other wireless device reports a problem when this happens, just the Wii U.

I googled it and it appears to be a common problem. It appears that a USB wired ethernet connection is the way to go. That sucks but since my PS3, 360 and PS TV are all wired WTH.

"Are you sure you know where we're going?"

I've never had that issue with my Wii U, but my Wii did it all the time.

My Wii would sometimes lose the connection but it would always recover right away. The Wii U take a reboot before I can connect again.

My wife got me Steins;Gate for my Birthday in December and I've really been looking forward to starting it. I've just been trying to finish some of the other things I started first. Once I wrap up Deus Ex on my Wii U, Steins;Gate is up next.

I can't remember if you've played 999 but that is a very interactive visual novel that I heartily recommend. It was my favorite game I played last year.

I never played 999 but I have played a bit of Zero Escape: Virtues Last Reward.. I have it for both 3DS and PS TV (PSN+)

I had issues at first with my very first Wii u but honestly I couldn't tell you what fixed it. I've been told calling Nintendo or going on their support forum can produce some help with fixing that.

That's odd about the connection dropping out. Is your router far from your consoles? That sucks, maybe if your PS3 has a stronger WiFi connection that one can go wireless while your WiiU stays wired.

the router is about a foot away. The stupid part is that if you try to set up the router again on the Wii U it will see it but claim it is unable to connect.. I have a wired port available so I just need to buy the dongle.

Welp, those are Visual Novels for ya. I do think the game will propably open a bit when the time travelling aspect comes to play. I seriously wish they port it to Steam instead of buying it on the JAST website.
