BaD Eighteen: First Disney Infinity Figures

I couldn't help myself. Gamestop's buy-2-get-3-free sale on figures is still on! I got my first five Disney Infinity figures. Here's a pic:

disinfin           Captiain America, Barbarosa, Thor, Buzz Lightyear, Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey

I think my favorite is Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey. The rest are pretty cool, but, I have to say, I was much more interested in getting more Skylanders figures. I just like their design better. But, that being said, I did see a Hulkbuster Iron Man in the new figure section that looked great.

I think I'll be getting some more Skylanders next time and mix in one or two cool looking Disney Infinity characters while this sale lasts. I'm just hoping for the buy-one-get-a-second-one-free sale on starter packs so I can pick up Disney Infinity 3.0 and DI: Marvel Super Heroes.

The best part about DI is that there is online co-op. Niether Skylanders (except for a versus mode in Superchargers), nor Lego Dimensions has that.

Oo, I forgot. I got the breakdown on Lego Dimensions figures. Apparently Gamestop doesn't take in used ones because you have to put them together and they may have missing parts. So, you have to piece together all the figures, and even the portal, with Lego Dimensions. That's kind of cool, but I don't have the money to get that stuff new. So much for LD, at least until there's a big sale.

Also, it was repeated to me by the Gamestop salesman how lackluster the sales were on Skylanders: SuperChargers; meaning, that more price drops and sales may be coming for Skylanders figures and starter packs! Whoopie! Music to my ears. . . I think.

oh man that Mickey figure is awesome! I guess that makes sense about selling the Lego ones used.  But I tell ya, if I was going to do any of these, it would be the lego ones....

Yea, the lego ones are cool, just too expensive for me. I'll be watching for sales though.

Wait for a huge sale on the Lego Dimensions starter. Its a fun game especially with all the character switching for puzzles but if you need a Lego fix ASAP, just tackle one of the older Lego games. Yeah the Level, Team, and Fun Packs you assemble while playing the game (part of the game is to use the in game instructions, or you can do what I did and just look them up on Lego's website) There are a bunch of sales on Fun Packs, and Amazon has recently given good discounts on the pre-order price on the packs.

I'll be keeping an eye out for sales. There's no way I can afford those things new.

I've been trying to find Lego Indy 2 because it's one of the few with online co-op.

The Sorcerer Mickey does look cool.  If they made Gravity Falls or Darkwing Duck figures (or anything from the Disney Afternoon era), I would get them.

I want the Donald Duck one hoping it might look like Darkwing Duck. I also saw Agent P today and almost got it.

If they had a full Phineas and Ferb level, I would've considered buying Agent P.  Same goes with Wreck-It Ralph.

I don't really watch Phineas and Ferb, but I do have respect for the cartoon.

Some of the coolest figures don't have levels. That's annoying.
