I played the Spider-Man playset in Disney Infinity 2.0 today. I didn't finish it, but I got pretty far. This playset is much like the Avengers one. There are interior areas and then there's the open world New York City. So it pretty much plays exactly the same as the Avengers playset. Still, it's fun. You have web slinging in this with the Venom and Spider-Man figures. I'm playing as Venom mostly with Nova and Nick Fury on the side to pick up bonus boxes Venom can't and do other Feats (small objectives) along the way.

Before I played though, I had to pick up Nova and then some Skylanders too. Here's a pic of the Skylanders minus the two Giants characters I gave Mark that I already have and Nova, because I used him right away and didn't have him around to photograph later. I should say, Nova is a good character to have in Disney Infinity 2.0, as is Iron Man. Both are able to play in all three playsets provided you pick up the collectibels for them. Usually they are the easiest collectibles to find. You could easily get away with having only three characters in this game: Nova, Iron Man and one Guardians of the Galaxy character. I wish I'd have know that before, but then I probably would've gotten some of the other characters anyway, 'cause they're neat to look at. Anyway, here's the Skylanders:

                                                          Chill and Roller Brawl

It's beginning to get tricky to find Skylanders I don't already have. I got these two and Nova, and then picked up two Giants characters that I knew Mark would want that I had already. I'll probably have to do more of that as my list gets shorter. I'm sure Mark won't mind.

When I was growing up, Spider-Man was my favorite hero and Venom my favorite villain.

I like Rhino. I wish they had him in the game.

Rollerball (the original) is one of my favorite movies.

The one with James Caan. Yea, I liked that one too.

Yeah it sounds like other toy games where the three characters are the only ones you need to complete the game, but if you want to unlock items you need the other figures. Web slinging in this game sounds like it would be a lot of fun.

2.0 didn't seem to make you feel you needed the other characters much, but 1.0 really pushes you. To unlock the toy box play set for each adventure, you need all the characters. Pirates and Monsters U had three but Incredibles had five. I borrow figures Mark has to do this.

I'm also trying to get the achievements for doing all the challenges, and in each play set there are character specific ones. I'm hoping I can get them on the Lone Ranger play set which only has two characters.

Web slinging is cool, but I soon switched the the hover car instead for better control in getting collectibles.

The Hovercar, that was Mr Incridible's right?  If so I used that through most of the Incredibles story. My other favorite was the son's hoverboard for races.

There was the Incredicar, but I don't think it flew. At least, I never thought to do that with it. I was mainly refering to the hover car in Spider Man playset in D.I. 2.0. There was a flying motorcycle in the Avengers playset too. But yea, the hoverboard in the Incredibles playset was cool. It was my main way of traveling the city until I unlocked the helicopter.
