It took Best Buy only 2 days to get a replacement to me and this one showed up in fine form. After seeing what it is supposed to look like the first one was missing a gasket that goes around the entire screen holding it in place. How that made it through QA I have no idea.

So far it's a pretty nice machine. I have the 4 GB Nvidia GTX 950 M set up as the default video but still have no idea why they bother to put the crappy Intel 520 shared RAM graphics in there.

I tried out Dark Arisen on it which according to the internets won't run but it worked beautifully and looks really good too.

I bought FF IX on Steam the other day so I played some of that too. The character models look nice but the backgrounds have not been updated so they look somewhat blurry. Still fun to play using my 360 controller.

Good to read you got the laptop situation settled and have a solid machine. As for the graphics situation maybe its like my Macbook where it runs on graphics card for everyday stuff and for games and other high use items it switches over.

I didn't know what Dark Arisen is until I checked out Can My PC Run It, and it also says I can't yet all my specs say otherwise. This is when I like consoles.

i think aztecs is right, when you're not using the dedicated graphics card, it uses the integrated, which saves you battery power.
