Pikmin 3 for Me

I finally got a  $14 copy of Pikmin 3 for Wii-U. I've wanted it since it was announced at E3 2012. Miyamoto began the Nintendo presentation with little pikmin crawling all over him. I couldn't believe it. One my my favoirte franchises up front and center. I should've gotten a Wii-U and Pikmin 3 day-one but I was concerned about money then and didn't do it. Since then Nintendo hasn't released enough new games that interested me as much to make me pick up the system..

Now, I think, with the announcement of the NX coming soon and the end of Wii-U production, I'm getting worried about scarcity. I'm keeping my eye out for sales but I may just get one anyway next month.

Pikmin 3 is a lot of fun. If you don't get a Wii U there's always the NX. That is if it's backwards compatible.

I know Pikmin 3 is available as a download now and it will probably be playable on NX. I could have waited but when it was out at $20 new, I couldn't resist any longer. I'm already putting together a list of other Wii-U games to get, building up a library. Then I'll get the system sometime very soon. I'll be following the NX and looking for exlusive games I must have. Maybe I'll jump on that system quicker than Wii-U, but we'll see. I hope there'll be more news at E3 this coming week.

I love Pikmin! Still looking for a reasonably-priced copy of Pikmin 2 for the Game Cube.

I used to have that but then traded it. Stupid me. But then it came out on Wii as New Play Control: Pikmin 2, so I got that. It's much cheaper than the hard to find original and it's exactly the same but with Wii controls. I forget if you can use the classic controller or not.

I played the first Pikmin game and a bit of the second one and didn't really like them, so I never bothered with the third one.

This series is like the only RTS-like game on Nintendo systems that I can think of. It's like a frendly Warcraft to me.

I still need to find copies of the Wii ports of the first two games before going to this one. I would definitely pick a physical copy, but if it becomes scarce then I wouldn't mind getting the digital version.

I don't know why Pikmin 1 and 2 aren't downloadable right now. Seems really stupid to me. I could just download Pikmin 3 when I get my Wii-U, but I like physical copies.

Yeah, the Wii U has since last year Wii releases to buy digitally and I don't think i'd be hard to put the Wii ports of the first two games on the eshop if there isn't going to be Gamecube to buy digitally.

Smart move. Get it now before the resellers do.

Speaking of resellers. I just found out there will be a playset for Finding Dory and not just figures for Disney Infinity 3.0. It's out on the 17th and I'm going to try and preorder it tomorrow morning. I don't know if collectors are going to jump on it, but I want this last bit of content for D.I. 3.0. Plus they added achievements for that playset today.

I watched a playthrough of Pikman 3. It made me interested in the series but IDK when I'll actually pick up the game. Trying to be an adult is hard :(

Yea, now I want a bunch of Wii-U games and will be hard pressed not to just get them all this coming week.
