Battlefield 1

I hate the name for this. I think it's stupid as shit and whoever named it should share the same fate as America if Trump gets in – nuked by China in case the stupidity on display is fucking contagious.

However, the game looks great, and I hope there's no visual downgrade because it looks fucking GORGEOUS! And fun. I'm super interested in a more casual version of the WWI shooter since Verdun is a soul destroying exercise in futility.

Quake Champions

I've played a metric shit ton of Quake 3 so I'm pretty happy about this being announced. However, the Strogg were the worst thing to happen to the Quake series, as was removine the single player campaign, so I'm a little disappointed. I really wanted an atmospheric but still fast paced Lovecraftian shooter like the original, but I guess I'll take what I can get.

And I guess this is ID trying to fix the colossal fuck up that was Doom's multiplayer.

Resident Evil 7

I played the Playable Teaser for this game and it's basically P.T. But not scary. Seriously, it's got some okay atmosphere, but it was over really quickly, nothing really happened, it had some Outlast vibes but meh.

I want the cheese. I want the camp. I want Resident Evil, not a half baked Amnesia wannabe. I did hear the director saying he played those games but was annoyed there was no guns, which makes me somewhat interested though. I'm holding out hope but what I saw wasn't super promising. It seems in the pursuit to be scary they forgot why people loved RE in the first place.

We Happy Few

The trailer for this actually gave me goosebumps. It reminded me a bit of Bioshock mixed with Dishonored, and I don't know why, but a hint of Alien Isolation in some of the visuals. Maybe it's the 60's/70's vibe.

In terms of tone it reminds me of some of the creepier episodes of Doctor Who, but obviously a touch more adult. The Pinata thing was cool as shit and the whole intro seems teeming with confidence.

I am so fucking sold it's unbelievable.

Steep

Didn't think I'd be as into this one as I ended up being. Looks like SSX meets skate, and it got my blood pumping just watching the go-pro mode. There aren't really any good extreme sports games out this gen, so I hope this does well.

The Resident Evil demo isn't actually how the game will play. It's not even gonna be in the game at any point. I'm happy it isn't too cause that was not resident evil. I've watched a few people play the demo on YouTube and I'm just like this isn't resident evil. The game will be apart of the current storyline so I'm super curious who will be playable. Will it be old characters or will we get some new peeps. I really wish Claire would be in a new game though. She is one of my favorites.

I'm kind of excited about Quake Champions.  I tried to play Quake 4 and I was like what is this shit?

I didn't watch all of E3 so I missed Steep but watching some video on it on YouTube it looks like a game worth trying. I didn't care for Skate but I like the wing suit racing and it looks like it could be a lot of fun.

I played the RE teaser demo on Sunday. Didn't know quite what to make of it but do know that I hate the first person perspective.

I like the art style of We Happy Few so I'll probably check it out.

Quake, I'd love to play another single player Quake. Not interested in multiplayer.

Battlefield followed by any suffix. No fangyoo. No war shooters for me.

I got goosebumps watching We Happy Few too. It was when the 60's brit-rock kicked in. Can't wait for it.
