I'm taking part in Buy Nothing Day today. Tomorrow is Small Business Saturday. Going to go to The Game Box and get Christmas presents for the gamers in my life.

Seriously Black Friday is something Canada didn't start doing until a couple of years back and there used to be nothing in the way of deals anyway. Apparently England does it now too.

This year though my wife insisted we pick up that new coffee maker and I saw the deals at EB and they were too good to pass up. 

No line ups, no pushing and shoving, no pepper spray. It was no busier in the stores than on a regular Saturday. It helped that most people here have to work.

Oh yea, small business Saturday. I might have to check out my local not-Gamestop games shop and see what they're sellin'. 

I got the Telltale Batman game, the Mega Man Legacy Collection, and Bully all on sale on PSN.  I also got an additional 10% off with a Black Friday code that I saw on ign.  

I saw that code but not until I'd already bought the games. :(

I considered Mega Man Legacy Collection. I watched the trailer for it on XBO. 

thanks for the heads up on Skyrim. I scored it for $25.  It looks like most of their other games are sold out except for third parties now though. I wanted Battlefield 1.  I need games for my little brother to play when he visits....

That's the remastered Skyrim for $25? That's a good price. I'd be tempted. 

yeah man Amazon's game sales were pretty good. I wonder if they'll have more on Cyber Monday.  

If only I could trust the mail room in my building, but it's not secure and stuff gets lifted all the time. 

On Black Friday (or Thursday evening rather), my deal was getting a PS4 for a little over 200 bucks.

Wow, that's a good deal. Now you can play WoFF on the big screen. I'm flipping back and forth between versions.

Not sure how I'm going to go on with the pop idol simulator part of Omega Quintet but I couldn't leave it there for 8 bucks. I'll give them the once over and let you know.

Awesome pickups! I couldn't find anything from GameStop other than the remake of Ratchet and Clank. I think everyone picked up Skyrim this Black Friday. I bought a copy for PC because it was cheap and because I wanted to try out the mods. 

What games does the coffee pot have on it? Garden Warfare?

No it's an RPG so you have to do a lot of grinding.

I'm a little ashamed of myself for not seeing that coming.
