Couldn't stop thinking about the Midway Arcade Level Pack I wanted from Lego Dimensions, plus I was bored, so I went to Toys R Us hoping they still had their sale. They didn't. So I went to BestBuy around the corner. They did. I got it for $17 instead of $30. Yeah!
While I was there, I saw the Thumpin' Wumpa Islands adventure pack with Crash Bandicoot and Dr. Neo Cortex for Skylanders Imaginators. It was the last one, so I decided to buy it at full price. What am I thinking? Well, the promise of some old school adventure platform gameplay in that cartoony style with some new Skylander twists hooked me. Turned out though, they wouldn't let me buy it because it wasn't in their system anymore. What? Fine. So I went back to Toys R Us and got it there, but I added the Gryphon Park Observatory adventure pack as well. What AM I thinking? I guess I'm worried these adventure packs will get hard to find down the road since Gamestop isn't taking any more used Skylanders figures.
There's one more Imaginators adventure pack I'd like to have, The Enchanted Elven Forest. I haven't seen it around yet, but it just came out. I'll get it when I see it. These adventure packs are cool because they are like DLC. They have whole new worlds to explore in them. I'm being real choosey with the figures so far. I've only got one, Chopscotch. I'm only getting one if it really seems unique and interesting. I looked through them today and mostly they, the sensei's, seem like iterations on previous figures.
Well, I could continue with my Diablo III playing I did yesterday, but I'll save that for this weekend because I'll be doing much more of that then.
KnightDriver out.
Oh yeah: Star Wars: Rogue One tomorrow! Yeah!
