Mark and I started by mopping up all the side quests in the Claptrap's Robot Revolution DLC. I got the 3D glasses collectible achievement and found the six claptrap statues for another one. Then we took a tour of all the levels, beating up on claptraps to see what else dropped. There are three more collectible achievements connected to random stuff they drop. I got a few of the items like pizza slices, oil cans and fish in a bag, but I'll need more for the achievements.

Once we'd done a run of all the locations in that DLC, we headed back to the General Knoxx DLC to see if I could get the six midgets achievement, but we found the enemies a level or two ahead of us, which made fighting a huge chore, unbearable actually. I'm not sure why that happened but we decided to put the game back to playthrough 1 (lower difficulty). I found five of the midgets hidden in various chests and lockers. The last one was locked behind an area of a mission we'd already done and the game wouldn't let us back there. I figured we had to play it on playthrough 2 where we hadn't done any of the missions. So what to do?

We decided to start from the beginning of the game on playthrough 2 and level up. We ended up speed running the main game and finished it in under five hours. Then we were each about level 51 and could handle the General Knoxx DLC, I thought. It was still a challenge, but not unbearable. As we leveled to 54, some of the enemies became level 53. When they are that close, they really get tough. All the limitations in your gear become apparent. But we were at the end of the night and had to stop.

I'm not sure who gives you the mission where that last midget is, but I'll find out for next week. Then I'll have to go back to the Claptrap's Revolution DLC and try and get more random drops from claptraps. Then, finally, Mark and I will try and beat Crawmerax for the last two achievements in the game. After reading a walkthrough, I think it's possible if we are both at the level cap of 61 and use the right weapons. It'll be pretty satisfying to 100% this game finally after six years since we first played it. I just hope I can do it next weekend so I can move on. I had no idea I'd be topping over 50 hours in the first game in the series. It makes me scared of starting Borderlands 2, which has even more content. I can say I'm a little fatigued but I don't want to stop. This is a super fun game, especially playing it co-op.

So until next weekend, this is KnightDriver signing out.

I tried to get into Borderlands with my brother when it came out, but I think we were just so burned out on FPS.  I'm still kind of burned out at this point, years later too.

I can get burned out on multiplayer FPS really fast. I find that kind of running in circles shooting at each other really boring. I like to explore a world while I shoot at things.

yeah I think I played too much online multiplayer with Left 4 Dead, Battlefield, COD, all kind of at once, and it eventually just totally burned me out.

Last time I played online multiplayer to any extent was Quake III Team Arena on Dreamcast. It just never interested me. I did like Titanfall's multiplayer a little more, though, because it had bigger environments and was full of both real players and bots.

I've done that with my Borderlands game where I found some enemies a tad bit too pain in the ass so I went back to an easier difficulty. I'd like to jump back into the Vita version and finish off anything I may have missed and hopefully raise my character level.

I don't quite understand how enemy level is handled in this game. Throughout playthrough 1 most enemies were 3 or 4 levels below us. It stayed that way when we played the Claptrap DLC on playthrough 2 but then when we started the General Knoxx DLC, the enemies jumped to 2 or 3 levels above us, making it too hard. Then when we starting from the beginning of the main campaign on playthrough 2, it was ok again. At level 51, we went back to General Knoxx and the enemies were 1 or 2 levels below us. I don't quite understand it.
