Picked Up Halo Wars 2

I got it with trade-in money. I knocked down my Xbox 360 and Wii collections a bit to do it.

The preorder comes with three pins.

If I wore a suit and tie, I'd pin these to my tie, but I don't, so they just go on my shelf with the rest of the collectibles.

I'm excited to play it but I'll have to wait until the weekend since my XBO is at Mark's place. Maybe I'll go over there Friday afternoon and install it, though.

I've heard it plays exactly like Halo Wars 1, which had a different developer, the great Ensemble Studios, may it rest in peace. That's music to my ears since I loved that game. I almost bought the Ultimate Edition Halo Wars 2 because it comes with the Definitive Edition of HW1, but I gotta watch the wallet, and I can probably download it later if I want.

What's my next preorder for March, if anything? I'm not sure. I'm making myself wait until this weekend to look up what's coming. I've got Bullet Storm: Full Clip Edition to look forward to in April. I found out it's $10 cheaper if you preoder it. I thought it was overpriced for a rerelease. It could be cheaper still.

For March its pretty crazy for me. Theres the Switch right at the beginning with the new Zelda and I am Setsuna. Then toward the end Mass Effect Andromeda and Toukiden 2. There also releasing Kingdom hearts 1.5 and 2.5 on PS4 that month as well. April my only game for the moment is Persona 5.

I visited Ensemble Studios when they just had a small office in Dallas. They were working on a game that you might've heard of called Age of Empires. Back when I visited, they hadn't even found a publisher yet, but they told me they were thinking of Microsoft...

Oh cool! I just heard an interview with one of the major players of Ensemble talking about that very moment. I really loved the Age of Empires games.

I had assumed it was PC-only but then I heard an interview with the developers on Axe of the Blood God and they mentioned how it was coming to consoles as well on day 1. Plus it's only $50 instead of $60 for some reason o_O

I had to check to see if I owned a copy of Halo Wars and apparently I don't. I guess I missed it during the period where I was buying all the must have 360 games.

Those are some swanky pins. I would pin them to a backpack

I had a copy of the game, but when I heard about the Definitve Edition, I traded it. Kind of want it back now.

Backpack. Hum. . . I do carry around a backpack everywhere I go. I don't have any cosmetic things on it. Maybe.

I got Halo Wars 2 as well. Even got the Ultimate Edition which wasn't a bad deal with the season pass as well. Haven't played it yet however, as I spent all my time the last two days playing the Definitive Edition of Halo Wars. Now on to The Last Guardian.

I really wanted to go with the Ultimate Edition. I want to play that Definitive Edition. I imagine it's just got a graphical upgrade?
