Tales Of Berseria On the Way

My next rental game is on the way and it's Tales of Berseria! I'm really going to have a tough choice this weekend with Halo Wars 2, still unwrapped, ready to go. I guess I'll start Tales first because I haven't booted up my PS4 in a while, and I miss it. Halo Wars 2 can wait because I own it, and it isn't going anywhere.

My backlog is already building with Lego Dimensions, Skylanders Imaginators, Halo 5, Lego Marvel Avengers and Zoo Tycoon sitting there unfinished. I'm excited, though, to see the latest Tales game in action.

Be BaD!

But the cell shading. . . the role playing. . . the hairdos.

I'm a sucker for cel shading, but I was responding to Be BaD not the game in this title. I honestly know nothing about it.

Oh darn. My BaD. I keep forgetting my farewell line.

I played a couple Tales games.  There are so many of them.  I thought about collecting them all, but I realized I missed so many and more games were coming out faster than I could keep track of.

I got that way with comics, and then I got out of it alltogether because it was too frustrating not being able to get everything I wanted.

It'll be my first Tales game. Well, I played Tales of Phantasia on GBA once, now I think of it, and I own Tales of Symphonia but I haven't played it yet.

I can't imagine renting an RPG nowadays, although I did that all the time in the SNES days.

Yea, they are long, but with Gamefly there's no late fees. Plus, I may not like it, and then I'll only play it a short time and send it back. The local libraries near me carry games now but you only get a week for $2. I could then renew it, but I don't like having that late fee risk sitting in the back of my mind.

I've never tried a Tales game. Maybe at some point down the road I'll try one. There is a lot of content in Lego Dimensions. I need to read up on how to unlock some gold bricks so I can get back into the groove.

You know what's weird? Every time I see the title Lego Batman up on the marquee at my local theater, I think it's the game. How movies and games have come together.

Right? I think there's also going to be a Ninjago movie too. That line between the movies and games is getting blurry.
