News:

I spent some time chievo chasing in Bulletstorm. I played the Echo challenge levels again to boost my score and gain some achievements. Then I went after some level specific achievements both in Echoes and the campaign. I got some but not others. Then I started doing more campaign levels on Normal difficulty. I got past the on-rails level I had trouble with last time. Then I got frustrated over the remote control monster not following my directions in another level.  So I took a break to play Persona 5.

I spent a lot of time in the castle fighting and chatting with shadows. I learned how to merge personas and sneak attack shadows. Then I felt to urge to compete with Mark for completing Bulletstorm on Normal.

I managed to get to chapter 5 of 7 on Normal. It’s not particularly hard. I just have to use cover a little bit more. Since I’ve completed all the skillshots, I now have unlimited ammo on all weapons. This makes things even easier. I’m considering a Hard run on the game now.

Memory:

NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC on Dreamcast in 1999. This game is basically another iteration of NBA Jam. It has many of the same features as NBA Jam and even has the same announcer. Mark and I played a bunch of this back then. I don’t play many sports games unless they are decidedly arcade in style.

Team Earth from Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure

Terrafin, Prism Break, Bash, Dino-Rang

Terrafin is a dirt shark. He comes from The Dirt Seas where he was a lifeguard. An explosion in the sky turned his local sands into glass. Without a job, he turned to boxing. He became a prize fighter defeating all who opposed him. Then he met Master Eon and gave up boxing for a greater call, protecting all of Skylands.

Prism Break is a crystal rock golem. He used to be just a rock golem but he was accidently buried by a cave-in for 100 years. His arms turned to gems during that time. Then a Mabu mining crew (they look like groundhogs) rescued him. Once free, he decided to use his new crystal arm powers to protect the Mabu and all Skylands.

Bash is a wingless rock dragon who always wanted to fly. He could roll like a ball though and developed a thick skin doing it. Then one day his flying friends got captured by the nets of an airship. He rolled into a ball so powerfully, he bounced right up to the airship and made a hole, freeing his friends. Master Eon saw this and made him a Skylander. Bash is lovesick over Flashwing. She’s an earth gem dragoness from Skylanders Giants.

Dino-Rang is a dinosaur who doesn’t like being called a dragon. He lived in a tribe far away from Skylands. One day evil wizards mistakenly opened a portal under his bed and brought him to Skylands. He used his boomerangs to defeat the wizards and then become a Skylander. He looks for the fabled twin diamond boomerangs that will take him home again.

What's cuter is that Flashwing attacked him the first time she saw him and knocked him off a cliff. He was happy about that because he got a sensation of flying. Now he's just gaga over her. She's a looker in her jade variation:

I played about ten hours of Persona 3 FES and something similar for Persona 4 Golden. I'm trying to stick with it longer this time.

yeah i never finished the others too.  What bothered me most is I wasn't interested in the procedural dungeons. But they're not procedural this time, so I'm excited.

You got maps and everything with this one. I like maps.

I never played NBA Showtime because I thought it was a ripoff of NBA Jam. That should be a game I should be on the lookout for because I don't have a copy.

It's called a successor to NBA Jam on wiki. It was just like it but with updated graphics. I can't complain about that. More Jam is good.

No you can't. Maybe its time I give the game a fair shake. Of course the first step is finding a copy.

It's funny because the title does not suggest a NBA Jam like game. It suggests a more simulation game. It has the current rosters of teams from 2000, though. Shaq is on the cover.
