Here are all the Life figures from Skylanders Giants as shown on the poster which came with the game.

lifegiants

Tree Rex, Stealth Elf, Shroomboom, Stump Smash, Lightcore Shroomboom, Zook

Tree Rex was once the mightiest tree in a forest in Skylands. Then the Arkeyans came and built a factory nearby and leaked toxic waste into the forest for hundreds of years. This tallest of trees mutated and became Tree Rex who promptly destroyed the factory and then went looking for its maker. Now he is a staunch defender of the natural order of things.

Stealth Elf returns from Spryo's Adventure in a new pose.

Shroomboom was once one of a crop of mushrooms in Kaos' pizza topping garden. He knew what he was destined for and so fashioned a slingshot with a stick and some spider web and shot the whole crop of mushrooms over the wall and then himself. Then they lept off the island (it's Skylands, so islands are in the sky) with the help of Shroomboom's parachute-like mushroom cap. Now he's a Skylander who has a certain dread of pizza.

Stump Smash returns from Spyro's Adventure in a new pose.

Lightcore Shroomboom is just like Shroomboom but lights up while on the portal.

Zoot returns from Spryos' Adventure in a new pose.

I have the tree giant, because it came with the game I reviewed.  It used to light up really bright when I put it on the pedestal, but last time I played a Skylanders game, it didn't light up as much.

Yea, you could only get that one in the starter pack, I believe. I didn't know it lighted up. I'm going to have to test that. I hope they don't fade over time.

goddamn those Arkeyans and their toxic waste! Where's Cloud and Tika when you need them???

The Giants handled it but got banished to Earth for their troubles. Also, the Arkeyans used to defend Skylands against The Darkness until they started messing with technology and magic. Then the warlike Arkeyans outnumbered the peaceful ones and created a tyranny under the Arkeyan King. . . I'm kind of getting into this Skylanders lore.

Has McDonald's ever had Skylanders Happy Meal stuff?

Oh my, yes! I didn't realize until you mentioned it. There are a lot of them.

What's Pain-Yatta angry about? Lollypop not the right flavor?

Pain-Yatta? I want models of him and Eyore now.

Dammit. Bringing up Eeyore. I kind of feel like him right now. Anhedonic is a word I learned recently.

If you have access to therapy and anti-depressants, they helped me out along with diet and exercise. Last year was the worst year of my life emotionally. This year, it's like I'm so happy I'm almost immune to the crap going on in our country. Almost ...

Yea, I looking into a psychiatrist at the moment. This year has been pretty rotten for me so far. I'm not generally a depressive person though, so I'll get along somehow.

Is it just not having anything to do? You could start writing a book or get into something else creative.

Definitely not lacking in stuff to do. I'm actually getting back to regular work next week. It's just, I left a place I'd been at for 15 years. The adjustment was more difficult than I thought plus I'm trying to figure out how to change things. Going back to work is fine, but it's the same stuff and nothing new. I'm not advancing and that's making me stressed out.

I dig the Giant Skylanders. They may not be the ideal size for the game but if you ever want to display them, they're big enough to see the details without having to get a closer look.

Yea, the big ones are cool. I know what you're saying, though. The smaller ones seem perfect for the game.
