Madden 18. It seems there is going to be some story in this one.

Battlefield 1: In the Name of the Tsar. All the gameplay looks amazing. I’ve always wanted to play this.

FIFA 18. Ok.

Need For Speed Payback. Man this game looks like Burnout! It has slow-mo crashes just like Burnout.

A Way Out. It’s a co-op game about a prison escape by two characters. Lead developer Josef Fares appeared. He’s a guy who gushes with passion. He was really funny on the GameInformer podcast interview I heard this week. A Way Out is split screen only but can be played either couch or online co-op. That’s cool. I don’t do couch co-op anymore. The game has good graphics and action. It lets you try a variety of approaches to solving a problem.

Anthem. This game looks great. You jump in a suit of armor and take to the skies. I like that.

NBA Live 18. Complex controls let you deke, move and dribble precisely. It has street ball too.

Star Wars Battlefront II. Story mode! Yes! Holly crap the environments look great! Boba Fett baby! Jet packs and wrist rockets, oh my. I want to hear more about story mode. This is all about multiplayer. I guess we’ll hear about the story mode some other time. It was weird that they led with that in their talk and then ignored it the rest of the time.

I have to admit after being burned by Battlefront, Battlefront 2 looks absolutely sick.

I tried SW Battlefront and it was ok. Mark and I played one survival mode, and I played a few of the modes where you have missions, almost like a campaign. It was fun a little while but pvp was very uninteresting to me. Too chaotic. SWBF2 might be more of the same but maybe they'll do a little more on the single player front.

Since I'm buying Madden every other year I will give this one a shot. The last time I played the story mode in an EA game was NCAA Football where you created a high school player, played a single season of ball and then picked a school and continued your career there and I think you could import him into Madden.

NFS is a must buy. I might get it for PS4 because I don't care for Origin on PC.

Sorry EA, I haven't been a fan of Live in years. 2K is just so damn good.

Battlefront II with single player. YES! This is the game I'm also buying.

I heard the other day that Madden way back used to have injuries where an ambulance would come out on field and run the other players over. Ha ha.

Haha yep on the Sega Genesis. That was the highlight of the game.
