Ever play Parappa? There's a character with an onion for a head who's a karate master and his name is "Chop Chop Master Onion."
I remember watching a friend play one of the original Red Factions on PS2 or something. That was a LONG time ago.

I had some time today, so I got together with Mark, and we played some games. Wednesday is Games with Gold day on XBO, and the new one this week was Red Faction Armageddon. I had to download and install it though, and that took about 3 hours. During that time, I played some Minecraft.
Minecraft went chop, chop, chop. I played three different seeds and died every time before I could set up a base. Weird. I kept running into a mob spawn room, and each time I thought I could handle it with no armor and just a wooden sword. I seem to remember being able to handle it, so I’m suspicious the game has been tweaked to make it a little bit harder. It does make sense, though, that I shouldn’t survive fighting with just a wooden sword. But, I got frustrated, and created a new seed each time. Finally, though, I stopped fighting with such lousy gear and dug a mine to work in. Things went great, and I had a full minecart railway to the surface and the nether portal built when Red Faction finally finished installing.
Red Faction Armageddon went smash, smash, smash. I remember playing Red Faction on PC way back in 2000 or 2001. Then I played it again on PS2. I played Red Faction 2 on Xbox and I watched Mark play Red Faction Guerilla on Xbox 360. I missed Red Faction Armageddon, so I’m happy to play it now.
This game is really fun, if derivative of a lot of other games in story and character design. The level design is pretty linear too and feels like that old school shooter I used to play with better graphics. The environment is highly destructible and you are given lots of weapons that help you tear it apart and use it against enemies. I really had to tear myself away from it to go home today. Mark and I both are playing it and will still be playing it this weekend. I’m already getting that, “going for 100% achievements” feeling with this one.
I tried to play Parappa once. I didn't get it. The beginning baffled me. But I should try it again.
2001. I was still a PC player and played it there, but a few years later I had a PS2 and started to collect shooters. I played most of them on Xbox but Red Faction was exclusive to PS2, so I had to have it.
