So Casey and I are doing a podcast again and need questions!

Also, we need answers to these questions: Scariest Piece of Media you've Consumed?

Scariest moment of your life (that you're okay with being on a podcast)

Best blend of comedy and horror?

And finally: Bayonetta from Bayonetta 1 or 2. Which would you bang? Cheshire is an acceptable answer.

Scariest media? If I'm choosing a game, Fatal Frame. It had some great jump scares and pretty damn creepy ambiance. I don't really scare easily, but this one got me a few times the first time I played it. Bob in Twin Peaks probably creeps me out more than anything else though. Something super unnerving about that character and how he's portrayed in the show.

Scariest moment of my life? Not sure I have anything too interesting to add here. Had a drunk driver head straight at me one night at about 3AM driving down the wrong side of the road. Had to react quickly and actually head to the other side of the road in a split second to avoid a head-on collision.

Best blend of comedy and horror? Pretty much every horror movie ever. I'm the asshole laughing hysterically through horror movies. Final Destination probably had me rolling the hardest.

Would bang Bayonetta from 1 over 2. All about that long hair.

damn right about the long hair. And I'd let her keep her gun shoes on.

Goddamn that drunk story is terrifying!

And I'm the same. As soon as someone dies in a horrifically gory manner I laugh my ass off.

Most recently, the media to scare me most was the Resident Evil VII demo. It's the first thing in a while I've had to put down due to heart palpitations. Why I thought I would just play through the demo again to find the "better ending" I don't know. Dude walking past the door still got to me when I knew it was coming.

Otherwise, I'd say a book full of Edgar Allen Poe poems really got me as a kid.

Scariest moment of my life was last year, for reasons I'm not sure I'd want on a podcast. I can't really think of anything in real life that's really scared me and wasn't incredibly personal. I'll just say I hate small spaces. Claustrophobia/crushing is my biggest real life fear.

Best blend of comedy and horror for me is An American Werewolf in London. That movie had me laughing out loud, especially the abrupt ending.

From the Google Image search results I'm seeing, I'd say Bayonetta 1 is preferable. Her face just looks rounder/cuter.

Awesome. I'll read this out. Do you have any questions for myself or Casey?

I'm just curious what your favorite horror stuff is.

I'd  be a horrible candidate for these questions.  I do watch some scary movies, but not many.  I do like TV shows and movies about ghosts.  Nothing too terribly gory, though.

I don't really play many scary video games either.  Although it was hard for me to be scared about the first Fatal Frame game (yes I did play it), because your main character moved so slow it was like she just got out of bed or something.  Honestly one of the scariest video games I've played was SiniStar.  That arcade game scared the crap out of me as a kid!

I've been pretty lucky that nothing really scary has happened in my life.  Not anything worth noting anyway.  I've had some sad and rough times in my life, but not many scary moments. Maybe i'm just really brave!  Yeah, we'll go with that. :)

As a kid, two of my favorite movies were Ghostbusters and Gremlins.  Really more comedy than horror, but that's all I've got.

Bayonetta's a scary lady.  I don't think I'd be a good fit for her.  She does have her moments, though.  One time at a video game convention, I was walking along and heard a CLOMP CLOMP CLOMP behind me.  I turned around to see what it was.  Turns out it was a lady cosplaying as Bayonetta and her gun shoes were making all that noise as she was walking!  She couldn't sneak up on anyone!  It was a very nice costume, though, if you know what I mean.

Scariest media, lots of things by H.P. Lovecraft. Hard to pick one but I'll go with At the Mountains of Madness.

Something that scared me IRL. I'm not sure whether I was scared or just freaked out but the other week I'm coming home from work on one of the two lane back roads I take. Speed limit is 80 kph.

I came up behind this tractor trailer  who was barely doing the limit so I went to pass him on the left. As soon as I make my move he starts pulling over into the left lane to block me. I brake and pull back behind him but he's slowed down to about 50 kph so I figure he's planning to turn or something so I attempt to pass him again.

Once again he starts to pull over to the left so that he is half in the left lane and half in the right. No way for me to get by.

Don't know what his deal was but he kept this up for about 15 minutes, only moving back into the right lane when there was traffic coming the other way.

Finally he turned off to a road on the right. I was pretty shaken up that's for sure.

Best combination of horror and comedy - The Evil Dead movies of course.

I will say the new IT movie scared me really bad. Im typically not scared of all clowns either. The clown has to look pretty damn creepy or downright horrifying for it to really bother me but that fucking movie freaked me the fuck out. Im now reading the actual book, I clearly give no fucks for myself and my well being.

Scariest moment was when I thought we lost Geralt. I have a a sweet little boy cat named Geralt. Well one day before I had to work at night we couldnt find him anywhere. I was near to having a panic attack and losing my shit all in one. We kept screaming for him inside and outside the apartment to no avail. My cats are inside only critters, I dont trust the outside world. Thankfully we found him, he had gotten into the pan cabinet and couldnt get himself out. I remember being scared as fuck until we knew he was safe.

Id fuck both bayonettas, she is sexy in both games to me.

As a kid I saw this Salem's Lot made-for-TV movie. I think it was about witches or something but my young brain was scared.

I almost drowned in a powerful stream on a family vaca when I was little. My dad jumped in after me. Somehow I didn't drown. Or did I? Wooohooo.

Young Frankenstein springs to mind.

I don't think either Bayonetta would let anyone bang her. She'd bang you four different ways. Ooo. I gotta think about that one.

I cant wait to hear what you guys come up with for this podcast. What is it about? New games? Retro games? Horror games? Just for fun?

As for scary media, I can't pin-point it but the first time I played TheEvilWithin, some areas in particular made me feel very nervous. I think it might have been because of the janky controls combined with what the game expects you to do made things harder. Other than that, the village in the beginning of RE4 and the atmosphere of RE1 Remake are still pretty eerie. Especially at night with headphones full blast.

Scariest life moment was flying. Turbulance over the ocean on a 15 hour flight at night. Dark sky, dark water, no light and shaky ass fucking seats all the way!!!!!!

Comedy for me is Sean of the Dead and Supernatural. They mix the two pretty well.

Bayonetta kind of scares me with her gun shoes and demon transformation...umm, I guess Bayonetta 2 because she looked the best on that system.Wink

We've recorded the ep already, but will read your picks on the next ep. I'm nearly done editing so it should be up soon. It's just The Lower Level again.
