The Lower Level: Rebooted!

So Casey and I did our first episode of the new Lower Level Podcast! I'm actually pretty happy with this one. Casey and I both sound more confident than we did before, and I think our discussions benefitted from that.

We discuss Superhero comics, Comics in general, the Mario RPGs, The Evil Within, and... well a hell of a lot of things.

We have a segment called Random Battle, and for the next episode we are picking our favourite first gen pokemon starter. Let us know yours. And let me know who won this weeks random battle!

Also, we want ideas for Random Battles, so please feel free to drop suggestions for that and topics for future shows.

Also, if you want to be on at some point, let me know and we'll slot you in at some point!

My favorite Pokemon starter is Bulbasaur. I also like Tepig.

My favorite starter is actually Rowlett from Sun and Moon now. Before that it was go between Snivy and Chikorita. I was part of the Pokemon Yellow group so technically I did have Pikachu as a starter at one point.

I just listened to the pod and it's great! You both sound very comfortable and jump right into topics and dig deep enough before moving on to the next game. The pacing is perfect. This should be another regular podcast on Pixlbit. I'd listen to it. I sure want a more thorough coverage of EvilWithin2 when you're done with it. Since horror type games are still very niche, I think its a great genre for this cast, fitting called 'TheLowerLevel' for stuff that isn't trending in gaming, like indie, retro, etc.

I didn't play Pokemon original gen, but I liked Oshowatt, the otter cat thing.

I still haven't tried Pokemon.

I'm going to read Saga Vol. 1 in a few days. I think this will get me back into reading again. Should be fun.

I love radio, but I don't drive for a living anymore, so I'm in my car much less and so have limited listening time. I'll try and see if I can listen in sometime though. I need to go on a trip to catch up on a lot of stuff.

I can't drive much while on my current medication, and I can't work for another month, so sometimes I'l chuck on a chill mobile game, Diablo 3, an MMO or something mindless while I listen to them. Might work for you if you have tons to catch up on.
