The only BloodRayne game I've played is a 2-D one WayForward made a while back called BloodRayne Betrayal. I actually liked it, which is strange because I hate vampires. So gross!
Some Old Xbox Games and Etrian Odyssey V

I traded in Mark's old PS2. I had to make sure I had two controllers for my own PS2 before I let it go. It wouldn't do to not have 2 controllers. I used the money for a few Orginal Xbox games now on the new back compatibility list for XBO.
First I ordered Black from my local Jay St. Video Games store. That was my main interest but, for the sake of fun, I decided to check out another Jay St. store to see what they had on the wall. I didn't want to order anything this time. I just looked at what they had in-store. I like it better that way.
So I found Fusion Frenzy but decided not to get it because they wanted $15 and I don't think I'd find it all that fun anyway. If it was $2, or something like that, I might have got it just to see. I mean, I played it a little bit way back when, but I remember it as a collection of mini games that weren't that fun. I could be wrong though. But for $15, it's not worth finding out.
I got Dead to Rights. It's a nice third-person shooter with bullet time, if I remember right, and a dog. It was $2, so why not.
Then I got Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. Maybe I'll like it more this time around. I know it's quality, it's just 3D platform jumping physics tend to piss me off. It was cheap. I think it was $5 or something.
Then I got Bloodrayne 2. I played some Bloodrayne 1 way back when. I think it was like Bayonetta before Bayonetta - third person brawling with some shooting. Maybe some shooting, I forget. Has a similar lead character. Both wear high heels and kick some ass. I seem to remember the fighting mechanics were pretty good. I didn't even know they did a sequel. I suppose I'll check it out. It was just nice to buy some old Xbox games again. I haven't done that in a long while.
I couldn't find Red Faction II or Grabbed by Ghoulies. Not sure I care much about Red Faction II, which I've played, but I did want to check out Grabbed by Ghoulies. It's by Rare. Got average reviews, I think. I'm still curious as long as it's around $10 or less. I probably won't order it. Only if I saw it on a shelf somewhere would I bite, and I've checked all my small video game stores in my area now. I'm satisfied. Black was the main one I had to have.
And I traded in Culdcept Revolt to Gamestop with some others to get Etrian Odyssey V. Culdcept is great, but the A.I. really do cheat. You can see it in the way they move around the board. It's clearly not as random as it should be when you use dice. I find that infuriating. But, that's what you get in all the Culdcept games. It's one annoying factor that stops me from finishing any of them. I'll go back to Culdcept Saga if it ever gets added to back compat on XBO.
I'm picking up right where I left off with the demo in Etrian Odyssey V. I'm level ten and can now progress. I super excited.
