The Spider-Man playset was pretty cool. It was a miniature New York City where you could free roam and fight badies. Kind of reminded me of Crackdown. Here are the figures I have for wave one of releases.
Nick Fury, Nova, Spider-Man, Venom.
Who the heck is Nova? I don't know this character in the comics at all. In the game he's super useful. He and Iron Man can be in all three playsets in DI 2.0. You have to collect some coins first, but it's not hard. Great for speed running or getting achievements. I like Venom best though. VENOM!!!
I don't have Iron Fist. He's kind of green and not so cool to me. I'll pick him up sometime anyway if I see him cheap.
Those were the wave one Spider-Man figures. Two more would come out later. I have one of them which I'll show in the Wave 3 releases.
So the only thing I know about Nova is that he's in some of the later Marvel vs. Capcom games. I think he's part of a space police called Nova Corps.
In Marvel vs. Capcom 3, each character has their own endings and some are pretty silly. In Nova's, he recruits every version of Mega Man to join the Nova Corps.
Is that the Mega Nova Corps?
I like Venom, Spiderman 3 not withstanding. Tom Hardy is going to be great as Eddie Brock.
There's going to be a Venom movie?
yeah man! With Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock! I don't know if spiderman is going to be in it though.
Potentially cool if there is plenty of Venom and less Brock.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't know who Nova is. He came with a Lego Spider-Man set I bought awhile ago and had no idea who he was. Venom looks like a beast, and when I make my way to the Infinity 2.0 I can't wait to give these character a try.
Venom's definitely cool.
